DPC is now taking on new clients and bookings for 2025!

If you don’t know us, we are a fully insured company servicing Northern NJ as well as parts of Orange County NY! We are a team of 2, giving us the option to be more available to clients for long term sittings! We have almost 3 years experience with prior experience before starting DPC.

Devon has been enjoying the last few months with her new baby girl, but will be returning back come the new year! Hannah has been doing a wonderful job at holding down the fort.

We would like to welcome Hannah to the DPC team! Hannah is now taking over all walks/pet sitting in the North NJ area. We are also excited to announce, Devon will be welcoming a baby girl come the end of September🩷

Hi everyone!! My name is Hannah, and I am so excited to be a part of the Devon’s Pet Care team!🤍
I am 21 years old residing in West Milford, and am currently a nursing student at William Paterson University🩺 Other than the medical field, my main passion has always been animals. Dogs have been a huge part of my life since I was a little girl, and one of my pups Daisy (a 14 year old Jack Russell mix) has been in my life since I was 7 years old🩷 I also have a 7y/o pitty-hound mix named Louie & a 5y/o chihuahua-minpin named Luna🐾🌙
I also was fortunate enough to grow up around horses and showed competitively on my own horse named Storm - which is how I met Devon when we were kids!❤️ I have a strong love for all animals (especially farm animals!) and would love to have my own backyard farm someday!
I love and care for all dogs/animals as if they are my own, so I can assure you the best possible care for your pets, whether it’s a walk visit or an overnight stay. I can’t wait to meet everyone and their fur babies!

DPC is a local dog walking/ pet sitting company who services all of North NJ and parts of Orange County NY! We are happy to say we are able to expand our company once again, and bring in another amazing pet handler and lover to the team!

Candidates MUST be able to:
•Be flexible with schedule
•Have a valid drivers license
•Have prior dog walking/petsitting experience (walking your own dog around the street does not count)
•You must be able to handle more difficult dogs/senior dogs whom may need more assistance then others🐶
•Basic obedience knowledge is preferred to keep some of our youngsters training continued during walks
•Any farm animal knowledge is great as well but not required! 🐴🐷🐮🐔

Morning puppy runs🐾🐶

Everyone meet Savannah aka Banana! Savannah was a rescue and is a 2 year old mix with a rat terrier, chihuahua, American pit bull terrier, beagle, and Russell terrier in her! When I started caring for them around January 5th we had a great first visit, she wasn’t scared like she normally would be, she didn’t hide or bark at me either which is something she typically would do. Then we had a little setback around our third visit, Savannah wouldn’t even let me go near her, and if I started coming in her direction she ran the other way… so at the next visit, I suggested maybe 2 visits a week would help Savannah learn I’m not a scary, mean person and that she can trust me. So we are continuing by doing two visits per week and started doing some positive reinforcement to help her learn I am her friend. She has already come a long way and she finally is letting me pet her and love on her. When working with nervous or anxious dogs you need to take your time and be extremely patient. Rushing anything will only be a recipe for disaster. It’s always okay to ask the owner for any tips or tricks, so don’t be afraid.
