As many of you know, Farm Chicks is extremely committed to giving our furry friends forever homes with us. With that being said, some of our guinea pigs are going into retirement and will be enjoying the rest of their days on our farm. Keeping in the spirit of giving animals good homes, we are looking to rescue 2 female guinea pigs who are in need of FURever homes! We were able to bring our horses back home tonight. The immediate fire threat seems to be over. The skies have cleared and the ash has stopped falling. We can all breath easier now !! Figuratively and literally. We had a very close call. At some points the fire line was only a half mile away. Thank you to everyone who offered their help and checked on our well being. I will be able to sleep easier tonight with my babies back in the barn.

We had a scary day here in West Milford today. An uncontained brush fire burned over 140 acres VERY close to our home. As another local farm was told to evacuate and the smoke got closer I chose to relocate my horses as well. A huge huge thank you to Richie Fountaine for trailering my horses to a safer location. Thankfully the fire seems to be mostly contained now so our reenactment of Noah’s Ack will not have to be put in action. Hopefully. 🙏Thank you to everyone who offered their stalls, barns, trailers and trucks. I’m so grateful for all of you. I can’t wait to get my babies back home. ❤️🐴🐴🐴

Farm Chicks is participating in a fundraiser hosted by Morris Hills Hope Club.
This club has been supporting families in Ukraine by sending school supplies and gifts to Funny Bunny Kindergarten in Lviv,Ukraine.
All proceeds of this event will go directly to the school and the students.
I hope to see you Sunday Nov 13th at White Meadow Lakes Clubhouse.
