Keeping our guests’ minds & bodies active is just another way our volunteers show them love! Xena here is approximately three years old and is funny, active, and enjoys being pet. She’s a playful pup. She may be OK with another dog, it seems like she is selective… we do not know about cats. If you have children, they need to be 14+ years old because of her boundless energy and strength. She is a ball of happy energy! And very pretty also.
Called to ask more questions at 973-728-2859 or stop by during our open hours. Xena will fill your home with happiness 🐾

The simple things… like watching a dog play with ice (maybe for the first time) and how cute he is! Enjoy some adorable videos here that one of our volunteers captured of Camden earlier today!!
As we’ve mentioned a few times already, Camden’s been with us for at least half a year now…😢🥺 He does need to be your only pet, he does need an owner with bully breed experience too…, that special person or couple or family is out there!! We know they will come find him. He’s a great dog!🐾🦴 and remember we offer a training session with our dog trainer if you adopt him. Even being an experienced dog owner, there are always new things to learn and/or just reminders of things. A training session is a win-win!!
Since we can only post one video here, the other 2 cute videos will be posted below in the comment section 👇🏼👇🏼
What a wonderful time these pups are having. Our ‘courtesy post dog’ Benny has been training with co-op (canine cooperative) to have full recall to come back when you call him… at the same time playing with some other buddies at their location… BENNY is still looking for the right home… this young, about 2 year-old, active boy at 20 pounds has big dog energy. He’s looking for the right person or family who wants to be active with him, and to keep teaching him, as he loves to learn and work! Benny is at canine cooperative, please call 973-668-6689 if you have interest to meet him!

Fun Cat Fact Friday: Did you know a cat’s meow is generally as loud as a refrigerator?
On average, a meow is around 45 decibels. That’s as loud as rain, a quiet radio, a birdsong, or a fridge! How cool is that? Some felines can even go over 80 decibels, which is equivalent to pneumatic hammer or passing truck.
Enjoy this compilation of vocals from our current and former cat residents. Meow meow!
