Dakota is adjusting very well to life in PA. He is one of our sponsorship dogs. If your unable to have a pet of your own maybe you would consider him yoursand help support his Second Chance. He is heartworm positive and heading to meet Dr. Wilhelm and our friends at Susquehanna Trail Animal Hospital. If all goes well he'll receive his first HW treatment. Please send prayers for him as fighting off worms growing in your heart can be exhausting and stressful. More details coming.

Rocky needs a foster or adopter ASAP. He is a two year old black lab mix. We're thinking possibly mixed with rottie. He was amazing today with his first meet and greet and training session. Rocky is a quick learner and very treat motivated. His attention was incredible. He reminded me of the service dogs. Can you believe this sweet boy hasn't had one application??? Hello! Boss and Lilly
We are so proud to announce that "Boss" has been adopted!!! Along with being new adoptive parents we were able to convince the family into taking Boss's little buddy Lilly as well to foster. Although we're hoping for a foster failure Heather Hamilton we're so glad they got to stay together, and have mixed well with the resident golden "Cooper". Without further ado... it is my privilege to introduce to you the three newest dogs entered in to our program. They were surrendered as strays, but the shelter believes the owner wanted to keep the Mom and didn't want these adorable puppies. Because, we have helped with some of the more "Difficult" dogs we were given the opportunity to help some adorable puppies find great homes. We are in our early "puppies stages" as a rescue program/spay and neuter program. Our corageous Crusaders were more than happy to take on this new challenge....Help me welcome Cookie, Mo, and Larry To K9C42C!!! Each puppy has their own application for foster/adopter on our petstablished page. We do have fosters available however, we'd like them to get into their permanent homes asap. They will be available for adoption on 3/19/17. The puppies adoption fee will be the same as our other dogs $250. This includes complete vetting, spay/neutered, all current shots, Micro chip & Micro chip registration, and of course Tax.
