Part-Time Horse Care Worker
Join a premium horse care team in West Newbury, MA! In this new position, you’ll assist with turnout, stall picking, feeding and other barn chores in a dressage-oriented boarding facility. Qualifications: Experience handling horses, willingness to adhere to our safety standards, ability to lift and stack hay/shavings, and a desire to help maintain a friendly, clean environment for clients. Offers competitive pay and the ability to negotiate your schedule. Minimum of one weekend shift is required.

Morning Stall Cleaner(s) Wanted
Work is located at a premium dressage-oriented boarding farm in West Newbury, MA! Responsibilities include mucking up to 22 stalls daily. Requirements to clean water and feed buckets are negotiable. Opportunities exist to earn additional income by assisting with facility upkeep.

Indian Meadow Farm is so excited to say “Congratulations” to dressage trainer-in-residence Christine Landry of Christine Landry Dressage, who just earned her USDF Gold Medal aboard Santino, her 13 YO Hanoverian Gelding.

While a Gold Medal is an impressive feat no matter what, this one is particularly notable in that Chrissy got Santino as a 3 YO, flying to Germany to select him at just 23 years old with aspirations of training a Grand Prix horse herself from scratch.

In July 2022 at the Green Mountain Horse Association's Dressage Days show Chrissy and Santino showed Grand Prix for the first time ever for each of them. In their first two tests they secured their final scores, earning the coveted Gold Medal and an invitation to the NEDA GAIG/USDF Championships. Coaches Bill Warren and Bill McMullin of Warren-McMullin Dressage were there to see the award winning rides.

To celebrate their success, a Gold Medal Party was thrown at the farm this weekend, where Chrissy’s husband Christopher Landry, parents, friends, and clients were able to raise a glass and toast this pair’s amazing journey and look ahead to the exciting next chapter that awaits.

Congratulations to Chrissy and Santino! We can’t wait to see what you do next, as we know this is just the beginning.
