Happy New Year!

Just a couple of things…

I will not be taking any pups who visit dog parks, attend boarding facilities or daycare elsewhere until further notice. This terrible dog illness going around is very scary and I don’t want to subject my 15 year old dog or any of my regular care dogs to any possible illness.

What a wonderful year 2023 has been! So many precious pups have waddled their little wagging tails through my door to be loved on and cared for while their families had work trips or they vacationed out of town. These fur babies bring me so much joy and I am truly honored that their families trust me with their tiny family members.
Looking forward to a pup filled 2024 and to all my dog parents THANK YOU!

Meet Bailey ! Hard to believe that this beautiful precious Angel spent 3 years with someone who should have never owned a dog. Her previous owner called the shelter and said “somebody needs to come get her because I don’t know what I might do to her”. I don’t have a clue what would make this person say that because this pup is nothing other than magical in every way! Thank God latte’s mom was able to adopt her into their wonderful family and I get to be bonus mom. 💗. Plan on seeing way too many doggie photos every time I have these two beautiful pups!

Dear new puppy parents or dog parents trying to potty train/housebreak your pups…s***king, hitting, shoving their nose in it is not the way you do it. This is cruel. Would you shove your human baby’s face in it or s***k them when they go in their diaper??? Sounds odd to compare but not really… puppies are babies. They need consistency from YOU. Taking them out the same door every hour or two and with encouraging calm voice say “ let’s go outside to potty”” once outside encourage them to p*e and p**p and praise them once they’ve accomplished their task and then reward with treat and say “good potty!” They will get it eventually without having to be scared every time they need to potty. I can tell when a dog has been hit for having accidents in the house and it’s heartbreaking. PLEASE never hit an animal.

Taking a week off from my pups did absolutely nothing but make me miss them! I got nothing accomplished that I needed to do and Bentley seems completely lost… he really misses his friends.
