Animal Clinic of West Plains The Vet Clinic in the Big Red Barn - where God's creatures receive a little compassion and kindness.

Located conveniently on the corner of South 17 and 63 Highway, we at "the big red barn" are happy to routinely serve dogs and cats. All animals have different health needs as they grow and mature, so we at the Animal Clinic of West Plains emphasize preventive medicine to ensure that all animals enjoy the best health at every life stage. We also offer a full range of professional medical services,

including diagnostic testing and imaging (ultrasound, endoscopy, and x-rays), surgical and dental services for dogs and cats of all ages.

Our goal is to offer exceptional medical care with excellent customer service in a fun and friendly atmosphere. We are a team of professionals who are passionate about what we do and the animals we care for. We sincerely hope you will allow us to be of service to you and your furry family members!

We secured a donation of food from Hills to be given to the community from the recent Tornado.

75 bags of dog food and 85 bags of cat food in various sizes will be given out. Food and supplies available while they last.

Distribution will be 1pm at Endurance Church in West Plains on Sat March 22, 2025, along with supplies from Convoy of Hope.

Good afternoon! This kitty was brought in out of the rain after being hit by a car with a significant leg wound by a good Samaritan. Dr. Buenger and the staff fixed up the wound, neutered him and updated his Rabies vaccine. There was no microchip found, and he is 1 to 2 years old. He is currently at the WP Regional Shelter! (He is sedated in the picture, but doing well). You can reach the shelter at the following number 417-256-8438!
