We are saddened to hear about the passing of Lucy the Zizzer Dog. Lucy began working at the West Plains R-VII Elementary in 2016 & fully retired in 2024. As a therapy dog, Lucy knew when kids were sad, listened to the secrets of hurt children, & shared their excitement when they had a story to tell.
RIP, Lucy, and thank you for serving the kids in our community. 🐾
