Okay here we go everyone! I have officially retired from dog grooming. But the GOOD NEWS is that I have a groomer that is wanting to take over the business.

So as most of you know I retired as of January 31st. I do have a girl that I am training to take over the shop so hopefully everyone can be taken care of. I am really going to miss the people but more so the fur Babies. If you are needing an appointment you can still call my phone as I will be setting up her schedule for the next few months. Thank you for all of letting me care for your babies. I have thoroughly enjoyed it.

So as most of you know I have been on vacation since the middle of December. I have been contemplating this decision for sometime now and I do believe I am ready to announce that I will be retiring by the end of January. This has been a decision that I have been contemplating for sometime but I feel it is going to be the best decision for me. I have so enjoyed taking care of your fur babies so much in my 18 years of grooming and will miss everyone and all. My husband and I feel like it is time for us to start our next adventure in life. I appreciate you all for the support and hope to see you around in the future.
Once again with the rise of Covid-19 in the county I am requesting people to wear a mask into the shop and when you pick up your dog. Only one member from each family will be allowed in. You can come in the door and put your dog in the cage and pick it up from the same cage. There will be a money box on top of the cage if you could please put the exact amount in the box it would be greatly appreciated.

I would appreciate it if you would wear a mask when dropping and picking them up. Also if there could just be one person dropping and picking them up. I will have a cage at the door you can place them in and you will be able to pick them up there also. They will have to be picked up ASAP when I call. They say pets can’t spread or catch this sickness from people but I don’t know if I believe them. There will be a basket that you can put your payment in also by the door so we will be able to keep the social distancing up. Thanks so much for being patient with all of these rules and regulations.
Mutt Kutz will open whenever the state lets Hair Salons open up. Please be patient with me. I have missed seeing my customers during this time. There will be some rules set in place when I do open back up such as only one person can bring in a dog and you must wear a mask when dropping off and picking up. Please do not come if you have been sick or anyone in your household has been sick within the last week before your appointment. Hopefully, I will be seeing all of you within the next couple of weeks. Thank you for your patience.
Unfortunately because of the Coronavrus crisis, I will not be grooming any dogs until it is over or I feel safe to do so. I have already been at home all week with pneumonia and other issues so I don’t need anymore. I have a weak immune system normally. If you have an appointment scheduled you can either call/text or message me and I will put you on my list. Is will reschedule the appointments I have had to cancel first and then book from there. So sorry about all of this but I feel it is important to take care of everyone’s health first. If you have any issues with your furry family members you may call me for advice. I had the privilege of helping PAW's groom 6 of the 77 shihtzu that were rescued. These poor little babies were so scared when they first arrived. Once they had their hair washed and cut they were so much happier. They are so cute and sweet. They are definitely going to need patience to socialize them and potty train them. They definitely deserve a loving home. Here are some pics.
