A large group of the pet owners Shakespeare helps are elderly and disabled. These are some of the most vulnerable members of our society. These are also the people who need their pets the most, and this is where Shakespeare can make the most difference in the lives of both the pet and its owner!

We're grateful to help our veterans.
Here's an example of the many emails we receive requesting help...

"I am a navy veteran who served from 78-86. My fur baby is a 2 year old female American bulldog named Dillah. She ate a stuffed animal that is currently blocking her intestinal tract and may need a surgery costing $1200-2600... This dog is my Love, my best friend she is all that I have in this world. Any help would be great."

Any day we can help an animal is a really good day.

We are so proud of what we do. This week we helped a lab named Daisy, a cat named Toby, a puppy who had run into a concrete wall while playing and broke a rib and a dog with a debilitating eye disease. Yet for all those we help, there are so many we have to turn down. We just haven’t the funds, and our goal is to someday be able to help every animal who needs us. We are based in northern Nevada, we’re getting ready to start a branch in Florida. If you'd like to become part of Shakespeare Animal Fund email us at [email protected]
