So V***n and I finally did a thing, we stepped into the field and participated in our first trial. The emotions were extreme I was soooo nervous! Thank you so much to Chris, Jill, Joseph Greg, without you guys we wouldn’t be here. Thank you to Volker and Pat for making me feel comfortable and reminding me to breathe. Jamie for testing me and talking me off the ledge, Ali for never doubting me and finally the MOST thanks to Craig for supporting this crazy passion of mine, I definitely couldn’t do it without you.

So beyond happy. We are officially on our journey V***n vom Haken BH BHOT!

Looking for someone that can take a canine passenger from Virginia to Vermont. As soon as possible is best. She will be traveling in a XL RTK kennel so that’s the amount of room that will be needed.

He’s growing into a really handsome dog! 💚 Reaper - Cham x Philip

Please read the entire post as it answers most of the questions that will be asked before messaging me.

This handsome boy is Ridley (orange collar from the Christmas litter) Cham x Philip. He will be 3 years old in December.His former owner decided (no fault of his own) that they were not able to provide him with the outlets and time that he needs so called me and he came back home.

He’s been with me long enough now that he’s relaxed and I can see the goofy boy he is.

The good: he’s very clean, crate trained, walks really well on a leash and knows sit, down and come here. He is up to date on all shots,parasite scans and is neutered. Once you’re in his circle he is a pocket dog and is never far away.

The bad (so far)He is noisy when he wants something or sees someone approaching (he’s a shepherd, go figure) however he quiets down without much conflict. He is used to self entertaining, he has started interactive play and working for the ball. I have not put him with other dogs yet but he has some barrier reactivity which doesn’t mean a whole lot given what he’s gone through the last couple of weeks. From the vet records I’ve read he can be an ass during exams. (I have my opinions on this)

He needs an active family that understands Shepherds. He has a very high food drive and prey drive, which will be super helpful in training. However small dogs may be an issue, dog savvy cats could/ should be fine.

He’s a big boy at approx 80ish pounds and has no actual idea of it.

He is not free and will come with a contract. I’m in no rush, however this boy deserves a good home with his own people.

Do not bother contacting me if you have no experience with active high drive dogs or live a sedentary lifestyle. This boy needs to move and play and deserves the very best.
