Good morning, coffee and early morning training is the best. Especially when the pup get the idea and she’s aiming to impress. Athena is very proud of herself here. Our end goal is for her to drop where she stands when I say “down” and nowhere els. The past few days I’ve also been working on her understanding of tactile rewards (petting) and how to accept them when I’m not working on this. Maybe I’ll do a video on that later. Also, I don’t plan on keeping this game around a lot during training after this if at all. Because when you teach a new behavior you are also teaching the state of mind that went with it. So if this down at this level of excitement where to stay consistent then it wouldn’t be ideal. The down is prob best calm.
