For anyone who thinks it's no big deal to hire someone who doesn't carry pet sitting liability insurance this is the most recent list from PSA (Pet Sitters Associates) with the claims they've paid out recently. My feeling is it is better to be safe than sorry! Purrfect Pet Sitting is bonded and insured for BOTH our protection!!
*Member was watching the client’s cat at the client’s home; left rope toy out for the cat, who ingested it; surgery was needed - $3338.90 paid
*I/C was walking two client dogs on-leash; a third-party person stopped by to say hello and one client dog bit her; ER care was needed - $4209.87 paid
