Back in August 2024, our Mexican Black Kingsnake named Sin escaped his enclosure. We thought he was gone for good due to the cats and dogs in the house. Three days ago, my best friend found him on the kitchen floor, safe and alive. He was in good shape, so he was set up in a secure bin with heat, water, hides and last night he ate his first frozen thawed mouse for me happily. Sin decided to give me another heart attack though when he went stiff with the mouse in his mouth. I was certain he had died. I went to put him in the freezer before bed and he was fine with the mouse completely down 😯 I'm still in shock. This guy is such a fighter.
