Gandolf's Happily Ever After

We are overjoyed to share an update on our sweet boy, Gandolf! He is thriving in his new home with his amazing mom and family. This happy boy has completely embraced his new life, and it’s safe to say he’s living his best one yet! From his relaxed demeanor to the love and care he receives daily, Gandolf is truly in his element.

Updates like this remind all of us—volunteers, fosters, and supporters—why we do what we do. Seeing our precious rescues find their perfect families makes every effort, late night, and moment worth it. Thank you to Gandolf's new family for giving him the love and happiness he deserves.

Meet Parker: A Sweet Soul with a Heart of Gold 💛

Sometimes life takes unexpected turns, and for Parker, it meant leaving the only home he knew. This sweet 2-year-old boy was a heartbreaking personal surrender to Ten Lives due to his family being unable to afford the treatment he needs for alopecia and miliary dermatitis. But through it all, Parker has remained nothing short of extraordinary—kind, loving, and resilient.

Thanks to our amazing veterinary team, Parker is on the road to recovery, and his fur is starting to grow back. However, it will take some time for him to fully heal. Parker’s future family should know that he will need to be an indoor-only cat and stay on flea medication for the rest of his life to manage his dermatological issues. The cost of his care is modest—especially for a cat with so much love to give.

To put it simply, Parker is like a human with psoriasis. He has a manageable condition that doesn’t define him—it’s just a small part of his story. What truly defines Parker is his gentle heart and his unwavering capacity for love.
