📣Did you hear?! We have another location in Longmeadow opening August 5th! If you have any towels, beach towels, or smaller sized blankets you do not have use for we would gladly take them off your paws!📣

(Please be mindful that the donations do not have any tassels, or elastics that could contain choking hazards)

If you would like to donate you can drop them off to our Feeding Hills or West Springfield Clinic locations!

Here is some helpful information for the next couple of weeks! We compiled a list of Massachusetts approved fireworks displays.
Please do remember that people will still set off their own fireworks, so be mindful for the next couple of weeks with your pets- especially when the sun starts to go down!

🥵 ☀️ It's gonna be a hot one (for the next 4 days)

Please be mindful with your pets!

DON'T ❌

• Leave your pets outside unattended, or for more than a few minutes

• Walk your pet on the hot asphalt longer than necessary (see chart below)

• Take your dog on a walk or hike unless it's early morning or late evening when the sun has shifted and the temperatures are cooler

• DO NOT LEAVE YOUR DOG IN A CAR THAT IS NOT RUNNING WITH THE AIR CONDITIONER ON

DO ✅:

• Ensure your pet has access to water at all times

• Make sure they get their exercise early in the day and late in the evening, still monitoring the temperature and making sure they don't get too hot.

• Provide a cool treat: frozen Kongs, frozen fruit in ice, dog ice cream (!!!🍦😍). Social media has loads of ideas for frozen treats to keep your pup cool!

• Keep your pet home when you do errands, no matter how much they love the car ride!

• If you don't have an air conditioner, make sure your pet has access to a fan and a cool spot in the house.
