WE KNOW THE RIDER IS TO BIG FOR CRANBERRY!!
"ANABELLE" WAS JUST VISITING WITH HER GRANDMA, OUR VOLUNTEER NANCY WHEN WE ASKED FOR HER HELP.
Cranberry will be going to a very special facility in NJ where she will have a job in a therapy program.
This is so perfect for this pony who exudes kindness and love to anyone needing just that. She will be ridden by an appropriate person for her size but only at a walk!
We will share her journey with you as she moves onto her new path at the "Pony Power Therapies" in New Jersey!
THANK YOU ANABELLE FOR DEMOSTRATING TO CRANBERRY'S NEW OWNER THAT SHE IS WILLING AND ABLE TO DO THE JOB!
BIGGIE WITH LOCKING STIFLES
*THIS IS NOT HIM NOW....READ ON-
HIS NAME IS "BIGGIE" RESCUED FROM A KILL PEN. 2YRS AGO,
As you can see his stifles were BOTH locking in his hind end, and his pen*s was dropped most of the time, he also had little of control over his bowles.
It was early Spring when he arrived, someone had given him a painful botched botched clip, which they were only able to got done on one side of his body.
He was fearful of being handled so we let him be until he settled into a predictable routine and allowed him to free roam on the hillside, from time to time we asked him to walk p the hill backwards, when Summer came his stifles no longer locked and he was trotting & cantering at will, he also had no other issues!
In time Biggie got adopted with another mini gelding named Apollo unfortunately their owner was no longer able to care for them so they came back to us 2 days ago. They were well cared for and are UTD on everything, confirmed by their vet records. They will be ready for re- homing soon, right now they are leary of about
everything.
"FARINA" IS OUT OF THE CLUTCHES OF THE ABUSIVE- Double D Bar Ranch in Manorville NY (on Long Island) and being led to where she will spend 2 nights in a safe stable.
She along with a mini mule and a potbelly pig will arrive to GER on Saturday! They will need a lot of medical care and in time they will be evaluated for adoption (the pig we named Astrid will be staying with us. β€)
This was Romeo and Arrow's 5 a.m. arrival they are adorable
(lice & all!!)
"ARROW" No longer Tina taking a little walk in freezing temps for us to see what a cute little bundle he is!
We are still shy $200 for his bail. If we can find **10 people donate $20 that will complete what's needed. Thank youβ€ paypal.me/gerdasequinerescue
MISTY HAS BEEN HER NAME SO WE WILL KEEP IT, BUT JUST LOOK AT HER HAS NOT BEEN RIDDEN, SHE IS A DRIVING PONY, BUT IS TRYING HER HEART OUT! SHE DESERVES THE BEST LIFE NOW!

Dear friends,
Thank all of the new names I see for this fundraiser who stepped up and sent us small micro donations, this really made me happy.
To spice up the fundraiser up, a couple who have adopted from us and are strong supporters have offered $1000 matching fund donation. This means no matter how much you may donate it will automatically be doubled. And when the donations have reached $1000 we will be mailed the donors check, and along with you donations we will have made $2000 in total, which will make a nice dent in out very large vet bill! We couldn't be more grateful.
I have searched for the video below and actually found it from Sept. I wanted you to see and read just one of the miracles that happened because of your support.
This is about a horse named JUSTICE and this is his kill pen video from Texas when we first saw him. This rider will tell his version of what he thinks happened to Justice.
He went on to say that someone must have just pulled him out of a pasture and wanted to tune him up so he could be shown as a riding horse when they dumped him auction. He goes on and will show you the hole he had in his side due to someone spurring him.
All of us were horrified as you will see, at the pen they even stitched it closed!
We fundraised and you raised the money to free him, he is now safe with us.
Several months later we find out this was NOT a hole made by spurs it was a sarcoid!!!
When it quickly grew, that was when we sent him to the Myhre Clinic. Now comes the miracle I mentioned- Yesterday I got a call from the clinic, of course I am thinking it's more bad news but no, what I heard instead was that someone met Justice during the 5 days he was there and fell in love with him!!
This senior horse and the woman who fell in love with him and wanted to adopt him for her young daughter! The is the most gentle and crazy loving horse you could ever meet, as well as a perfect ride for a little girl.
TOMORROW JUSTICE IS LEAVING US TO GO HOME AND
Look at Bloom (now Petey) day 3 helping his foster mom with chores!π.
