Hi everyone! I've been grooming for about 15 or so years.

My name is Fiona and I've recently moved to West Union! What a gem of a town and such warm and friendly people! I started back in 2005 with my first Miniature Schnauzer, Jack. A few years later, I began showing my dogs in AKC conformation so I had to up my skill level. In 2016, I opened a shop in Fort Madison IA called, Dawgs & Divas. My intention wasn't to groom but rather to sell dog food and su

pplies. The demand for another groomer in town was great so I decided to broaden my horizons! In 2017 I was in a grooming competition in Las Vegas, "Super Zoo". Although I didn't place, the experience was wonderful! In February 2020, I closed Dawgs & Divas and moved to San Antonio Texas to help my sister take care of our aging mother. Then COVID shut everything down. As horrible as the pandemic was for many, many people, I was blessed that I got to spend almost 2 years with my mom before she passed. Last fall, I knew I wanted to return to Iowa but not necessarily to the same place. I have a daughter and 2 grand children in Colfax...and just recently, a GREAT grand daughter! (I'm not that old!) I wanted to be close to them, but not so close that we smother one another ;) I have friends in NE Iowa and also graduated from Upper Iowa University. So...I've set my sights on West Union! My grooming style is finished to AKC breed standards. If your dog is a mixed breed, I do great with pet trims! Take a look at the gallery of some recent dogs I've groomed. I'm really looking forward to meeting all the pet parents and their fur babies!

I can personally recommend Amber at Doggie Doo in Oelwein or…Mathew at The Grooming Station in Strawberry. There is another girl who is just getting started…she’s in WU. Message me for her info please.
