We DO offer emergency care. If you call, the phone will ring to the personal phone of the staff member fielding calls after hours (one of the techs or Dr. Sarah).
You must LEAVE A MESSAGE with your information and nature of your emergency and you will get a CALL BACK to help assist you.
Any non-emergent messages left, we be addressed when business hours resume.

Leptospirosis Vaccine is now deemed a “core” vaccine along with Distemper and Rabies according to the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA).

This is a vaccine that is commonly given by our practice and recommended due to our “risk” based on where we live and a lot of our client/patient lifestyle.

This is a great resource for vaccine information.

🚨 Important Update: Leptospirosis Now a Core Vaccine for ALL Dogs
The 2022 AAHA Canine Vaccination Guidelines have been updated to classify the leptospirosis vaccine as CORE for all dogs starting at 12 weeks of age – regardless of lifestyle, location, or breed.
Why the change?
🌆 ALL dogs are at risk—urban, suburban, and rural.
⚠️ Potentially fatal, even with treatment.
🔄 Zoonotic—it can spread from pets to humans.
🏢 Dogs in daycare and kennels also face exposure risks.
