As we have previously stated, certain changes have been made with respect to our animals and their exhibits. Today, the lemurs have been relocated to their new exhibit, located within the Animals of Africa area. They are slowly adapting to this expanded environment, exploring and finding treats to aid in their settlement.

Thought I would get a nice quiet lunch without interruptions. That didn’t happen. Cookie decided to let herself out and join me. I had to share my lunch.

The genets are nocturnal by nature, but today the male in particular was interested in exploring after keepers cleaned his enclosure. As you can see, his tail damage that occurred at his last facility is healing and doesn’t seem to affect him.
