Today, thanks to YOUR Donations. we got all new Buckets for each kennel!!! 25 of them!
No more leaky buckets that run dry overnight.
No more cut up hands or mouths.
They are Stainless Steel instead of galvanized so are much easier to keep clean & sanitize.
They also have a flat back to hang evenly, so heads can fit nicely in to get a drink.
They have a lifetime guarantee and are virtually indestructible.
This might seem like nothing to some folks, but to us...this is a HUGE deal!!!

Lucy was adopted! These ladies fell in love at first sight, but had to wait until her 'Stray hold' was up. She sure is loved! Her adoption was sponsored by Dr. Marilyn Frey.. Thank you!!

'INDY'
Male~ Lab mix ~ 5 months
Indy came to us at 1 DAY old with the rest of Dolly's litter. He is the only one left here. Indy is very smart & eager to learn. He loves to play with toys, is good on a leash, and gets along with other dogs.

We have been asked by several to change to more evening hours so the public could visit after work & school. We Heard You!
Our NEW hours at the Shelter will begin AUGUST 5th (Monday)
MONDAYS 4:00 - 6:00pm
TUESDAYS 12:00 - 2:00pm
WEDNESDAYS 4:00 - 6:00pm
THURSDAYS 4:00 - 6:00pm
FRIDAYS 9:00 - 11:00am
CLOSED SATURDAY & SUNDAY
We will continue to make arrangements for after hours meetings as we are available.
Hope this change helps to make it easier for volunteers & visitors to come out & see our Dogs.

GUESS WHAT!!!! GINGER GOT ADOPTED TODAY!!!!!
Casen & I are so so SO happy for her!!! She has been hanging out with us for a year now and we've become pretty attached. Neither of us could bring ourselves to ever put her on "the list", she was just too amazing for that. It's been rough on her to have to be in a kennel and rough on us watching her have bad days (dogs are not meant to live in a cage inside). But..... THIS just made us both remember why we do this job 🩷. THIS is a great day!! Go Be Happy, Ginger!!

FREE ADOPTIONS for ALL DOGS DURING THE MONTH OF JUNE!!!
Just come out to meet them all, fall in love with those puppy dog eyes and fill out an adoption application. It is just that easy.
All dogs are not currently in the album yet but will be added soon.
PLEASE, PLEASE SHARE!!! We HAVE to get these babies adopted!!! We are filling up waaaay too fast and can't stand the 'bad' thoughts that we might have to make the dreaded decision.....

KRUZ is now Available for Adoption. He is approx 1 year old and would love a place where he can play! He likes everybody! We're not sure on what breeds he could be, he is FUZZY! Want to meet Kruz, come on out or call to set up an appointment.

THANKS to Martinsville Free Methodist Church Women's Group!!!!! Because of their VERY VERY Generous Donation We will be able to make EVERY SINGLE APPROVED ADOPTION in the month of June FREEEEE!!!! We Want to Give them a HUGE Shout Out for, not only the monetary donation, but also for the dog food, Hand Sanitizer, cleaners, and spoons!!!!
