Last of Strudel’s litter going home today and Saturday. Nellie is headed down to sunny Florida and Winston is going up north to Tupper Lake! Their siblings went home Christmas Eve to out of town families as well! It’s crazy, what started as a very local business, has spread up and down the east coast and headed west as well. We have puppies in 2 countries and 16 states, thanks to all you spreading the word! Nothing better than sharing the puppy love 💕 🐾

After a very difficult year, we took the girls on their first trip to Disney! We all had a wonderful time and had a much needed break! We are back now and will be responding to any messages we’ve missed while being away. Updates on litters….all of Strudel’s babies are spoken for and Cookie should be due next month with a litter of longhair dachshunds. Still looking for the perfect Xmas present? Message us for details 🎄🐾

Hi everyone. We are going through the wait list for Strudel’s litter. PLEASE check your messages!!! Going forward, If we do not hear back from you within 24 hours from us reaching out to you, we will move on to the next family on the list. We want to get through the waitlist before we leave for Disney next week. There are families that are waiting to know if they will be getting one of these babies and we can’t move forward if we are waiting weeks to hear back. Please be respectful of our time, and of the other families waiting. We are making this change to make it fair for everyone involved. Thank you for your cooperation!

Maddie only has 3 babies left. 2 males and 1 female. They are vet checked, fully vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. These babies need nothing for one year. It doesn’t get any better than this. Younger pups are also ready for new homes. If you’re looking to get a puppy from us now is the time. Once these guys are gone it will be at least a year or more before we will have any available. Serious inquiries only please.
Brothers 😝 *Maddie’s litter is fully vetted, all set until a year old on vaccines and microchipped! And despite what you see in this video lol, these boys walk good on a leash!*
Half the crew at the milk bar…top to bottom…Blue (male), Red (female), Purple (female), Pink (female)…5 days old. Still have slots available for this litter and Willow and Ivy’s litters due in the next two weeks. And because we’ve been getting this question a lot….These are pure bred Golden Retrievers!
Regina and Gryffindor’s spring 2022 litter, 2 chunky handsome boys! *we will be in contact with our waitlist families in the coming weeks to find homes for these cuties!*
Both boys have found forever homes! Lara and Charming’s two boys 💙 17 weeks old black and cream/tan minis. They should be 9-12 pounds full grown. Almost done crate training and doing great with potty training as well. They sleep through the night, love cats, people, kids. Good with other dogs once they get to know them, at first they’re just a little shy! Pictures are almost impossible to get, they don’t sit still lol, but the bigger one is Frankie, he’s more of a snuggler. Drac is the smaller one and he is more independent. They’ve had two sets of shots and are due for the last set next week. We are super proud of how well these boys are doing, they’d make a great addition to any family!
The foster babies are one week old today 💕 and Scarlett’s little ones are two weeks old 💕💕 we will get pictures up of everyone soon, please be patient with us, we have a lot going on with caring for all of these little ones, in addition to our adults and normal life. For now enjoy this video of Jazz’s little boy (Black Ribbon) as he dances to All I Want to Do by Sugarland {he’s actually asleep lol but he’s got the cutest moves, the twitching and moving tells us he’s a healthy puppy...all those little movements help strengthen his muscles to prepare for learning to walk in the next few weeks!}
Snow day today in our neck of the woods! We are up over our waists in snow, and it’s still coming down. The babies are too little to go outside still, so we brought in some snow for them to get the experience!
Six am wake up call! All 8 puppies found their bark and growl this morning at 6am after we let Piper outside to go potty...enjoy the cuteness!
Miss Zoey is making definite progress! She CAN definitely see! Her walking has improved a lot. Potty training is proving to be very difficult, so we are still using potty pads for her, and she isn’t able to be crated. She has a spunky, fun personality that’s been a joy to see develop!
Balthazar (now Benson!) has found his forever home! 💕 Our last available Dachshund puppy is this handsome little boy! He is a longhair Black and cream. Adult weight should be 12-15 pounds. Great with kids, cats and other dogs of all sizes. Ready to go now, first shots, four rounds of deworming, one year genetic health guarantee, a month of free pet insurance, and microchipped. $820 includes tax, lifetime microchip registration, and paid limited AKC registration.
This is why our yard always looks like an excavation site! Digging is one of the Dachshund’s most natural behaviors. They were originally bred to dig in the ground to hunt badgers! We don’t discourage digging, it makes them so happy and is a great stress reliever and enrichment activity. So what do we suggest for those of you who don’t want your yard to look like ours?? Set aside an area of your yard as the “dig zone”. This could be a small corner of your yard or even contained in a baby pool. Pre-dig some dirt to get them started and then scatter small treats in the area to make it interesting! You could half bury a bigger bone or toy to give them something to dig up as well. The rule of the game is have fun, and feel free to share pictures of your little digging machine in its natural element! 😉
Chloe’s babies turned 2 weeks old yesterday! Their eyes are open, they’ve begun to toddle around, and they are starting to explore the whelping box. These milestones are all markers for the Transitional Stage, which they’ve reached a few days early! Their ears have just started to open, so we will be watching closely to see when their startle response begins. The first startle reaction signifies the end of the Transitional Stage and the beginning of the Socialization Stage! This week we will be adding a bumper bed and a potty area to the box. We will be introducing a new toy or novel experience every day. We will be stepping up the amount we handle the babies, now that Mom has relaxed enough to permit her puppies being held for short period of time away from her. Our Early Neurological Stimulation finishes up in a couple of days, as the benefits stop after 16 days old. Mid week they will get their first taste of puppy formula so we can begin the first stages of the weaning process. We are happy to see her puppies chunky and healthy, and we are looking forward to the Socialization Stage!
Yesterday was a busy day for the Golden pups! Fresh snow romping, baths all around, first car ride, vet visit, first overnight in their crates, and a good paper shredding playtime session! At this point I'm racking my brain to come up with things to occupy them and keep their attention long enough for me to get things done around the house, this packing paper provided a good half hour of moderately quiet playtime! I'll call that a win for mom 😏
