Smiles for Deana!
Ryan and Deana Puffer are long-time friends to SFW and in need of our love and support. Please help SFW make a difference for one of our own. 100% of the money raised in this Square Game will be donated to Deana Puffer. Deana’s Story - It was Valentine’s Day 2023, exactly two years and two days after Ryan Puffer lost his mother to a brain tumor. Ryan received a phone call from his wife Deana telling him that she too had developed a brain tumor. As they prepared for what was to come, Deana’s biggest fear was to be left with facial paralysis. Her surgery to remove the tumor took place on March 5th, 2023. Because of where the tumor was and its size, her biggest fear became her reality. Although the surgeon worked for hours trying to avoid the paralysis, the nerve fell apart like tissue paper not only leaving her with partial facial paralysis but also an inability to blink and shed tears, imbalance and difficulty drinking, eating, speaking and even smiling. SFW wants to help raise significant funds for a complicated and much-needed reconstructive nerve graft surgery to repair some of the tragedy Deana now endures. Our hope is that Deana’s smile might be restored in the process. SFW is donating a Browning 7mm Mountain Pro Tungsten Rifle chambered in 7mm and scoped with a Vortex Viper PST Gen II 3-15×44 FFP Rifle Scope – a $4,100 value.
Let’s smile on Deana and Ryan Puffer by digging deep this giving season and help “Bring Back Deana’s Smile.” Please take a moment to purchase some Squares for Deana – 500 squares @ $25 per square. The drawing for the Browning Tungsten Rifle will be held live on Facebook.
100% of the money raised in this Square Game will be donated to Deana Puffer.

Who has visited ROMULUS NY Military History and the WHITE DEER? Seneca White Deer Group has 8-miles of roadway in the 3,000-acre, fenced-in area near the depot’s north corner. The tour also takes visitors past “the ammunition storage igloos, gunpowder buildings, and rail-car loading platforms used by the US Army to load and offload bombs and ammunition for use overseas during WWII, the first Gulf War and every military confrontation in between,” according to the Deer Haven Park website. It also swings by the high security “Q” area where components of nuclear weapons were later stored, https://deerhavenpark.org/senecaarmydepot/

I hit the grunt call three times, and within minutes a nice mature buck jumped the fence and came in with his ears laid back in search of whatever buck just made that sound in his area. He was focused just like a rutting buck in November, but this was Christmas Eve, well beyond the peak of the rut.....

BBD ➡️ For certain BIG BUCK Down 👈🏻

Clint Scored!! For days I’ve been alone up here in the wilderness chasing wolves, just wondering what the whitetails are doing back home when in came a message, BBD!! Clint took off straight from work for a quick hunt before sunset and in came big Grey Face Luey! Clint self filmed a beautiful shot and that was that. Trouble is he got blood on his new khakis. When he was just a pup he dropped his first big buck and turned to the camera and said “I need to go deer hunting more times”. And that’s just what he’s done!! Congratulations my son.

To My Valued Customers & Dear Friends: I regret to inform you that due to health issues, it is necessary for me to retire earlier than I anticipated. My hands, back, and body are telling me it's time to slow down and rest. I will not be taking in any more taxidermy.

I thank you for supporting my business, sharing your hunting stories, and mostly for your friendship over the years. It was truly my pleasure to play a part in preserving your hunting trophies & memories.

The Antler Shed will remain open for tours by appointment. Please feel free to reach out to me if I can be of help. Take care and hope you have a great season.

Lenny Nagel : Antler Shed Story

The Antler Shed Hebdon Hill Road West Valley NY, 14171

This whole thing really started in 1966 when My Dad (Skip Nagel) handed me a set of antlers from a buck he had shot and said," Take good care of these, they are natures art and just like snow flakes, you will never find two alike. Of course being ten years old and knowing everything, I set out to prove Dad wrong. Years of collecting both by donations and purchases along with a wonderful supportive wife and family and our love and respect for the outdoors, whitetail deer in general, has brought us to where we are today. We have over 6,000 sets of whitetail antlers on skull caps or full shoulder mounts, and over 11,000 shed antlers. 95% of these are from NY State and the rest from northern PA. These antlers along with hundreds of hunting related artifacts date from the 1880’s to present. We are told it is the single largest collection of whitetail antlers in the East and is the largest collection of trophy whitetail qualifying and entered in the NY State Big Buck Club. We are open by appointment and enjoy any and all outdoor enthusiasts, old and young alike. One of the museum's newest goals is to acquire a set of antlers from every state to include the hunters name and location it was harvested.
