There *is* some truth to the belief that dogs are a good judge of character. Research has shown through their keen sense of smell and skilled read on human body language and cues, dogs will sometimes use that information to form an opinion of a person. A dog's sense of smell is 1000 times stronger than humans. These heightened senses allow dogs to smell the pheromones that evoke the human mood which also helps dogs pick up good and bad behaviors of a human.

Nothing is more impressive than a dog’s strength and the love of the families who spring into action for pups in need! Roy was left abandoned on the side of the road with many injuries. Luckily, a compassionate family found him and immediately sought out care. You can’t put a price tag on the wonderful deed of this family nursing him back to health, but there is one for the vet visits. The Bow Wow Buddies Foundation® was so pleased to provide a medical grant to Roy to help with the expenses of his much-needed care, and we are even more pleased to hear he’s healing up great.
