re while you are away! Home-Based Boarding/Doggie Daycare Experience
Upon entering Brinley’s Big Backyard, pups are greeted by one of our team members and put at ease by the comforts and familiarity of a home environment. We require “meet and greets” for all pups entering BBB, to ensure it is a safe environment for all, alleviating any stress. Brinley’s Big Backyard - sits in the heart of West Des Moines, where we offer full time doggie daycare Monday – Friday. Nestled in WDM, we have a large fully fenced backyard, where we provide a smaller play group setting, packed full of fun! With full-time supervision, we provide a space for endless amounts of exercise, socialization, basic training, and helping with anything you are potentially working on at home. Along with getting your pups moving throughout the week, we have found that doing a few days of doggie daycare leading up to a long trip helps tremendously in getting your pup comfortable in the surroundings and familiar with our family as well.

• Rates for Doggie Daycare are currently $30 (9-10 hr period)

NEW Brinley’s Big Backyard “Ranch” EST April ’24 – sits in Madison County (Cu***ng/Van Meter, IA) where we offer around the clock overnight boarding care for your pup on our 5-acre home property. After many months of research and creating what we think is a puppy paradise, we opened Brinley’s Big Backyard “Ranch” dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable surrounding for your pup to stay overnight, while you are away. Upon entering BBB Ranch- your pup is guided to our fully fenced area, featuring more than an acre of space to run, play and find that next adventure! When it’s time for a little break from all that running, pups are welcomed into our indoor space providing over 1,500 SQ feet of room to lounge, move and relax- (2nd level of our home dedicated to pups with walk out basement directly to backyard.) Never fear your dog being left alone for hours on end and overnight, as we are foot steps away in case of an emergency.

• Overnight Boarding - $40 per night (24-hr. period)
• If you go over the 24-hr. period on your final day, a daycare fee will be applied. We are excited to meet you! Feel free to reach out with additional questions!

HAPPY FRIDAY!! Our morning view, ready for all the fun this weekend! Fall is near and we are so excited for all the activities and events planned in the upcoming months! We are always trying to think of new creative things to do with our furry friends! You won’t want to miss it! 🍁🍂

NEW SEASON is in effect, which means we just have a few small housekeeping items to cover! Allergies and Kennel Cough are on the rise across all dog kennels/play areas. We try to stay on top of things by daily sanitizing kennels, high traffic areas, toys and food/water bowls. Similar with back to school time for kiddos, the “cold” effect comes into play with pups as well. It happens to all, due to contagious level. We always are available for a quick call if you have further concerns or if your dog is showing symptoms. We always follow your vet recommendations and connect with our vet and team regularly to ensure we are up to date with what is out in the community!

With our group sizing, cases are very rare, but always check every pup coming in and evaluate if we see anything concerning. As much as we love seeing your pups throughout the week, if your pup is showcasing multiple symptoms (cough, running nose, lethargic, loss of appetite, unusual behavior and etc) please keep them home. We are a small house hold and most cases are treatable with a little bit of rest and vet recommendations. We know it can’t be avoided all together but again try to do our best in our household environment in keeping everyone safe!
