We've been busy focusing on patient care and we've missed several updates and recent events; Stay tuned while we get you up to speed!

In January Dr Jen and Kourtney went to Orlando, Florida to attend VMX (Veterinary Meeting and Expo) which is the world's largest annual gathering of veterinary professionals. The conference is hosted by the North American Veterinary Community (NAVC).

Dr Jen was in attendance to speak and teach other veterinary professionals about animal dentistry. Kourtney went for professional development to keep her leadership skills fresh and top priority, and to learn about new products to provide your pets with the best care that they deserve.

Later this week they will both head to Las Vegas for WVC (Western Veterinary Conference) to do the same, along with several other team members to assist Dr Jen during her wet labs. We will share photos from this event late next week.

We don't always get to just play with puppies and kittens, but then again sometimes we do. Our leadership team had a meeting today and made a very special request; Puppy and baby goat party!

Thank you to our vendor partners Kasey and Devan for the nice enrichment session to help boost us as we wrap up this super long week!

We didn't want this to be you or our team today. We've decided to follow the schools and have a SNOW DAY! We do have a remote receptionist available until 4PM if you need to schedule an appt or request a refill for pick up for tomorrow etc. Otherwise, stay warm and see you all tomorrow!

It's no news to us that the holiday time always comes with bringing home new pets. Whether you adopted a dog through a humane society or purchased from a breeder over the holidays you likely are in the transitional period in which your new pet becomes more comfortable in your home and out of their shell per se. Whatever the case may be we've created a blog to help explain to you the importance of training your new puppy or dog.

Join us in wishing our sweet Lola a happy retirement.

Lola came to live with us in 2018 when we needed a cat to come in and help keep the mouse population in the basement low, after living the first half of her life in the home of our Practice Manager, Kourtney. Lola quickly became a client favorite and a part of our team that we couldn't imagine functioning without in our day to day work lives.

She was recently promoted to our manager on duty and would spend her days laying in her chair, not listening to your complaints. Her solution to everything was making biscuits on a blanket and forcing you to share your lunch.

With supportive care Lola has had a fair fight with cancer and we recently made the kind choice to say goodbye to our beloved Lola. She was surrounded by love and we are thankful that we were able to give her the gift of permanent retirement at the rainbow bridge.

We will miss you sweet girl, rest peacefully!
