Miley came in Sunday afternoon due to some scratching at her ear. We discovered a yeast infection, so we cleaned her ears and sent her home with some medications. But of course we had to give her some snuggles first! Hope you’re feeling better Miley🩵

With the Fourth of July activities about the kick off in many towns and cities nearby, we're here to offer a friendly reminder:

1. Keep pets inside and make sure they are wearing tags and collars
2. Beware of counter surfers 🏄‍♂️: BBQ food is delicious for people but some items could pose significant risk to your pets (think corn on the cob, rib bones and skewers!)
3. If your pet is frightened, provide them with a safe place that they can retreat to (more tips here--> https://tinyurl.com/4jaw3vuf )
4. Make sure your pet has access to shade and water while celebrating outside!

Sometimes we need to rethink how to restrain our patients! Forest came to see us for some skin issues on his tummy. For the doctor to examine his skin, we stood him up on his hind legs to see better! Forest did great and went home with some topical skin medications. But not before he got a bunch of standing hugs!!
