2nd Derby day tomorrow! We hope people come to enjoy the course!

Our first derby tomorrow (07/17) and then again on Friday, 07/19!

Few things to know:
~Starter/Beginner Novice: 9:30am to 12:00pm (times updated from the last post)
~Novice: 12:30pm to 3:00pm
~Combination of show jumps and cross-country fences
~Show up whenever you want during the time frame of the level
~No need to pre-register….just come!
~Parking: We will have people park on the grass between the indoor and the outdoor. If more parking is needed, we will open up the paddock on the right of the driveway as soon as you pull in.
~Warm-up will be in the indoor
~Courses: We have the course up, numbered, and set. You can come walk it before your level goes, but you can always just watch to figure out the course as well!
~Pricing: $35 per round and $10 for extra rounds at the same height. Discounted XC schooling at $35 per horse
~Payment: Pay when you arrive. We will have a table set up at the outdoor arena. Please come check-in when you arrive. We accept cash, check, zelle, or venmo.

We had a great June at EIEC and a fun start to July!

NJHT: Paige took her three horses (Sunny, Bos, and Diamandro). They all had great outings placing in their respective divisions!

Valinor: We had a busy day at Valinor with 4 students riding around the Novice. Maya White and her horse, Promoted, won her division wire to wire! They are ready for their move up to Training! Emilee Kenney and her horse, Conspiracy Theory WE, came in 2nd and are also ready for their move up to training! Marianne Reardon and Rockem Sockem and Jamie Bassett and Master Higgins both had great rides to end 9th and 7th!

July Tim Bourke Clinic: Two amazing days with spectacular weather! All the riders had a blast and came away with so much confidence. We can’t thank Tim enough for his amazing lessons. He will be coming back on September 7th & 8th, so mark your calendars!

So incredibly excited to welcome this cutie into the world last night. It has been a long time coming with lots of ups and down to finally get a 2nd Mina baby on the ground. As many people know, I bred Mina to Hyperion Stud’s, Imothep, in 2022. Unfortunately, she lost the baby after 4 months. With the amazing help of C3 Equine Veterinary Services, LLC and Select Breeders Services Inc, we decided to breed her again and do an embryo transfer. Yesterday, our surrogate, Daisy Mae, gave birth to beautiful c**t and she is such an amazing mama! Thank you so much Christy, Ian Roy, and Kerrie for all your help making sure everything went well yesterday. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for this long legged boy!

Do you have dreams of riding and training at a great Eventing facility and competing with an amazing trainer and farm family?!

EIEC has a training stall coming available! We travel to both Area 1 and Area 2 shows and winter in Aiken, SC. We have a large 27 acre XC field onsite, professional show jumps, large GGT footing outdoor, a standard size dressage ring, and an indoor arena with mirrors. We have an individualized program that can be utilized to the needs of the horse and rider with top notch care and professional atmosphere. Paige is looking to add an at-home and competition groom to the EIEC Team. We winter in Aiken, SC for two months annually and the rest of the year is spent at home in MA.

This is will be salaried position with a compensation package consisting of housing, a stall for one horse, and healthcare reimbursement plan. We are specifically looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented individual who will become invested in all our horses, but with a particular focus on Paige’s competition horses. Must have a driver’s license and be willing to drive a truck and trailer. When not traveling to shows, a typical day would consist of normal barn duties, turn in/out, stalls, feeding, grooming, and tacking. Exercise rides would be welcomed and utilized for the correct person. Daily lessons and horse showing is a potential at certain events! Such a wonderful weekend at Millbrook Horse Trials. We had an absolute blast and we can't wait to be back next year. Thank you to all the organizers, judges, volunteers, riders, grooms, trainers, and owners!

Paige and Sunny ended 2nd in their first intermediate together. Bos and Paige had a fantastic run around their 2nd intermediate together. Lexus and Paige ended 8th in the Prelim. Winston and Mia ended 3rd in the Novice. Felicia and Libby ended 5th in the Novice. Jamie and Higgins had a confident run together in the Novice. Lucy and Maizey finished their first Novice run together. Lastly, CruZe and Chloe had another educational run around the Training!

Huge thank you to Jordan, Kerrie, Alex, Betsy, Emily, Christina, Stephie, and Tim for all your help this weekend. Another huge thank you to everyone that keeps our ponies running! It truly takes a village!

What a wonderful weekend with Bourke Eventing! We started the weekend yesterday in the ring with beautiful show jump rides. Today was out in the field and it was a very wet day, but through the rain there were a ton of smiles! Everyone rode so well and we are excited to have Tim back again soon! Thank you Tim!

What a week! Bos completed his 2nd CCI2*L at ! I am really proud of him! We have some things to work on, but I think it was a very educational week for him! Onto the next! Thanks Bromont, we will definitely be back next year!

This year we are offering packages:
Single xc use: $50
Conditioning (no jumping): $25
Season pass: $550
Trainer season pass: $350

*Season passes can be used on multiple horses but only 1 rider.

*If trainers brings 3 or more riders for a schooling, they ride 1 horse for free on the same day.

*The field will be mowed every 2 weeks

Wow! What a fantastic weekend EIEC had at Plantation Field Horse Trials! 3 of our students ran their first event of the 2023 season and they all ended in the ribbons!
1st- Mia Thombs and Bantry Bays Winston
3rd- Jamie Bassett Alwaisand Master Higgins
5th-Felicia Sullivan and NewYork Conspiracy
4th-Paige and Excel Star E.I. Bostonian are a newly minted intermediate pair.
6th- Paige also had a wonderful run on E.I. Future To Be LLC’s, Sunnyvale Lass, in the prelim
1st-Alex MacLeod and NewMarket Jack in their first run of the season in the Intermediate

Although it was a long day, we had an absolute blast and cannot wait for the rest of the season!

We have the amazing Ben Franklin Dressage and Rob Waine Dressage coming to teach a clinic on Tuesday, April 25 and Wednesday, April 26.

Ben Franklin discovered his interest in dressage out of a broader background in driving and eventing. In 2010, he completed his Bachelor or Science in Equine Management with Honors from the University of Northampton, where he developed a particular interest in Sports Science including Rehabilitation and Therapy. In 2012, Ben was hand-selected by Carl Hester to compete as one of 7 finalists for the British Dressage Young Professionals Award. Carl chose Ben not just because of his riding ability but also because of his personable and approachable nature, his open-mindedness and intelligence, and the fact that he is an excellent ambassador for the sport. Ben's passion is teaching and he specializes in utilizing pole work to help dressage horses in their work. Ben is an expert in working with nervous riders due to his empathy for them - he had a very bad fall that almost ended his riding career, so he understands that confidence can be a real challenge following an accident or bad experience. Rob Waine can boast many accomplishments, from a 2014 National Title in England at the elementary level, to a 2017 Gold Medal in Paris at the MCI European Championships where Rob represented Great Britain in the Small Tour. He also has numerous regional titles under his belt. Rob is the envy of many of us - he not only trains with Lisa Hopkins, but is also regularly trained by Carl Hester! In Buckinghamshire, Rob runs his own busy training and livery yard.
