Caroline Olsen and Spark of Phoenix won both phases of the WIHS today, as well as the overall with scores of 90 in the jumper phase, and 89 in the hunter phase. This qualifies them for the WEF Equitation Championship at the end of circuit!! 🎉🎉

Another great 2 weeks in Florida! ☀️🎉 At ESP Holiday and Horses The Ridge LLC’s Latoya and Caroline Olsen were Champion in the Junior Hunters winning 3/4 over fence classes, and Olsen LLC’s Union Blue and Caroline Olsen were 3rd in the 2* Talent Search. At ESP Year End Olsen LLC’s Union Blue and Caroline Olsen won the WIHS Jumper Phase and won the 2* Talent Search, First Blue LLC’s Coastal Blue and Caroline Olsen were Reserve Champion in the Junior Hunters, Emily Haigney’s Fanfare and Caroline Olsen were Champion in the Small Green Pony Hunters, and First Blue LLC’s Buttons and Blues and Caroline Olsen were Reserve Champion in the Small Green Pony Hunters!

Our Story

Located just minutes off of Route 95 in Westbrook Connecticut, Westbrook Hunt Club is situated on 30 beautiful acres, and home to state-of-the-art riding and training facilities. We offer quality hunter, jumper, and equitation horse and pony sales, show services, and boarding. Offering riders one of Connecticut's largest indoor rings, several outdoor rings, with quality show jumps, all on 30 acres. We host year-round horse shows for schooling, local, and nationally rated competitions. In addition, we host riding clinics, and offer a full-service, on-site tack shop.

Westbrook Hunt Club is owned by respected horsewoman, and USEF 'R' judge Jane Dow-Burt.

After an amazing 50 years of operation, Jane continues to strive to keep her equine facility one of the best in Connecticut. Because her judging as a 40 year "R" judge takes her across the country, and abroad, she's turned the reins over to well-respected hunter/jumper rider, Shelbi Heady. Shelbi, who has an amazing history of accomplishments herself, is continuing the tradition of excellence.

Westbrook is home to numerous horse shows, ranging from Introductory Schooling shows to USEF "A" rated competitions, our multiple riding rings, and professional jumps, are inviting for competitors of all levels. The farm is also host to Blue Ribbon Venture shows, the Connecticut Horse Show Association Finals, and Combined Training competitions.
