Did you see best bud boy band members Ivan & Zeke in our local paper this past week? With the above freezing temps for a few days, they were back on the catio getting some fresh air. As usual, our boys were jamming in their favorite tower cup, to the amusement of volunteers Terry and Stan. How so much fluff fits into those cups is a wonder, but somehow these two cuties make it happen. Fender is a darling dainty tuxedo girl in our Peach Room. Sadly she lost her home of 14 1/2 years, but has been taking it all in stride as the volunteers have all been introducing themselves and giving her the attention she loves. For a small sweetie, she has a loud purr and she loves to play (check out the video of her in the comment section below playing with her new pal Genevieve). I heard that our volunteers have been petting this gorgeous gray guy so I went to investigate! Gabriel was a stray when we rescued him and since he arrived, he staked out a corner of the Yellow Room highline as his own. Our volunteers and socializers do not let this stop them from saying hello! Turns out he is sweet and gentle and he even let me touch his toesies. Gabriel just turned 4 years old and we hope he gets comfortable enough to venture down so everyone can appreciate how lovely he is! Come by and meet Gabriel and all of his roommates Saturday. Mad Skills Monday with Mama Mia! Mama Mia loves her wool ball and entertains herself batting it around the Peach Room and carrying it around to play with. She turns 2 years old on March 3 and would love nothing better than to find a family of her own for her birthday! This gorgeous sweetheart has a dark brown stripy coat and often sits right in the middle of the room on one of her favorite scratchers, waiting for company to walk through the door. Tuxedo Tuesday! 4 year old big beautiful boy Levi resides in our Blue Room. He has a dashing coat of black with white whiskers, chest, chin and paws. Levi is a gentle guy, mild mannered, sweet and a tad shy and if you approach him quietly, he accepts petting and praise. He loves hanging out in the tower tube facing the window to check out what is going on in the catio and beyond. Levi would be a lovely addition to any cat loving family! Come meet him Saturday! The 2025 Peach Room playtime games! Cinder, representing team Black Panther, shows her mad skills at totally dominating the field while her opponent Prince, of team Teddy Bear, can only look on and hope she fumbles. It does not look good for team Teddy Bear. Ellie is watching intently from her luxury box as her team recently lost to the Panthers (see playback video in comments below). Dylan, in the lower bowl, is up next and is hoping his team, The Tuxedos, is ready to win in the big finale!
