Keep your eyes out!

Hello we are asking for your help finding our brand new puppy. He is timid and still adjusting and ran from the Cove edge Marina in Watch Hill marina after he slipped his collar. Authorities have been notified. If anyone has seen him please contact us here or the number on the flyer or the police. Thank you all in advance for keeping an eye out for him. Thank you!

🍠🍏 Sweet Potato and Apple Balls for Dogs 🐾

Ingredients:
- 1 cup cooked sweet potato, mashed
- 1/2 cup grated apple (core and seeds removed)
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup coconut flour (optional for firmness)

Instructions:

1. Prepare Ingredients: Make sure the sweet potato is fully cooked and mashed to a smooth consistency. Grate the apple finely, ensuring all seeds and the core are removed.

2. Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the mashed sweet potato, grated apple, rolled oats, and coconut flour (if using). Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.

3. Form Balls: Using your hands, shape the mixture into small, bite-sized balls. If the mixture is too sticky, add a little more coconut flour or oats to reach a workable consistency.

4. Bake (Optional): If you prefer a firmer treat, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper for about 15-20 minutes, or until they are slightly firm and golden on the outside. This step is optional for dogs who prefer a chewy texture.

5. Cool: Let the sweet potato and apple balls cool to room temperature before serving.

6. Serve: Serve these soft, chewy treats as a special snack for your dog.

7. Store: Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Notes:

- Sweet Potato: Provides a great source of vitamins and fiber. Ensure it is fully cooked and mashed to create a smooth texture for the balls.

- Apple: Adds natural sweetness and nutrients. Grate the apple finely to ensure it mixes well with the other ingredients and is easy for your dog to eat.

- Oats: Rolled oats add fiber and a bit of texture to the balls. They also help bind the ingredients together.

- Coconut Flour: This is optional but can help firm up the treats if you find the mixture too soft.

- Serving Size: Adjust the portion size based on your dog’s size, age, and dietary needs. These treats are meant to be given occasionally and not replace a balanced diet.

Enjoy making these delicious Sweet Potato and Apple Balls for your furry friend!
