Guardian home needed for this handsome guy. Nino is 16 months old, intact, and was pulled from an unstable home environment where sadly he received no disclipline. We are looking for a strong (not aggressive) male leader to be his guardian dad. He does not respect women and will do as he pleases if he is left under the care of one. He can not be trusted at this point with kids but he is good with other dogs. Never been exposed to a cat or other small animal. Ideally he would do great with someone that is not afraid of him and would be willing to work with him in a professional training setting (we do have an excellent board and train program we can recommend in CT). He is a good dog but he has gotten away with bad behaviors because his original owners were rewarding these behaviors instead of properly correcting them. He has and will bite if he does not respect you. With that being said: I have handled him myself and not had any issues with him at all. He can read your energy and knows if you are weak or mean business. He was NOT produced by us, but we are vested in his success and we know he has a lot of potential. He would do very good with a single or retired couple that would take the time to work with him and not put him in any unsafe situations. He does have basic obedience and is happy. Loves to play. He is e collar trained, crate trained, house broken, good on regular leash and collar, and he is good for car rides. We will never give you medical advice with regard to vaccinations, however, we DO strongly urge folks to do their diligence and make sure they research any and all medications and vaccinations before just accepting them! Our dogs rely on us to protect them and to preserve their quality of life as best as we can. They trust us to make these decisions on their behalf.
