Due to an ongoing family emergency, pack hikes have been put on pause and I will be out of work indefinitely; in the meantime, staff is continuing to cover regular visits and overnight care.

That being said, they have all been working 8 days a week the last two weeks and I have made the decision to see if I can get some temporary help. We’ll need someone for the holidays as well so I guess it’s the right time.

It won’t be many hours and it might not even be regular enough but it will give you a spot on staff when we get busy enough again to bring someone on permanently.

Only requirements are a working smartphone, reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license. Pay is hourly plus mileage reimbursement.

I’m so excited to announce that we officially have a mascot! Meet Charlotte, a 2 year old Aussie mix, adopted on August 8th. We have been enjoying getting to know each other this past week. She’s taken to her new job as my copilot and business partner like she’s been here her whole life. We’re so excited to see where the road takes us in the coming years!

It’s crazy to believe this but the time has come once again. Our schedule is filling up for the summer and we’d like to get a new part-time staff member on board for training before we’re too crazy! Must be 18+, have a valid license with reliable vehicle, a smartphone to use our app and willing to submit a background check.

New service alert! And it’s not an April Fools’ joke!

Need to schedule a vet or grooming appointment but schedules aren’t lining up? Let us help! Starting today, we now offer a pet taxi service to help make these appointments easier!

Rates are as follows:
$25/each way plus our hourly rate depending on length of time AT the appointment.

A couple of examples:
- A trip to the vet would be $25 to the vet, $25 home and if the vet appointment is 15 minutes, it will be $15. Total $65.

- Your puppy has a spay/neuter appointment that you can drop them off for but can’t pick up, it will be $25. Total $25.

This service is currently for Westerly residents ONLY, regardless of where your vet is located.

Around here “we can’t say your name in our house” is a compliment 🥰

I love this dog and her mom so damn much. She’s come such a long way from the fear aggressive pup I met last December. . . It was a long 11 days that her mom was admitted to the hospital for the third time in the last few months and she’s finally back home. I’m exhausted from all those late nights and early mornings and all the visits in between. But when you’re the only one that can safely enter the house when mom is gone, it’s absolutely worth every second. . . Don’t let the cute face fool you, she absolutely can and would destroy you if you don’t completely understand dogs. It took me a long time to gain her trust. Now that her mom is back home from the hospital, we can start showing Molly that not all strangers are evil. . . She’s proof of why the terrified, broken dogs will forever be my favorite kind ❤️ this is why I do what I do
