Dr. Amber (Andelt) Lubbers grew up on a small family farm south of Pleasant Dale, Nebraska, and graduated from Milford High School in 2003. She then attended Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis to obtain her Veterinary Technician degree in 2005, and worked as a vet tech until being accepted into the Professional Program in Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State University from which she

received her DVM in 2013. Since 2013, Dr. Amber has practiced in Nebraska, and in April of 2023 opened her own mobile clinic based just outside of the city of Western.

Helped with a young heifer calf that had a bad case of pink eye. While it had been treated properly, it just needed a little extra help with some antibiotic drops to get this young girl healed up quick. Luckily, she was a bottle calf which made her a very willing patient!
