Dearest Penny,

My God, I love and miss you. You have my heart, forever and always. The grapevine recently shared the news of your departure for Nirvana on the first of April. You left our home one week after I did, and with that I knew the truth.

I wasn't waiting for you to find peace throughout all of last year. You were waiting for me to find peace. Thank you, my beautiful friend.

Thank you for watching over me. Thank you for being good. Thank you for teaching me to be stoic, yet unabashedly vulnerable. Vulnerability is strength when we find peace.

Thank you for teaching Bertha the Pit Bull to stay humble, especially when she was eyeballing your ice cream. Thank you for teaching Fraulein that a dog can be an amazing friend to a cat.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I love you so.

We'll talk again later in my prayers. ❤🧘‍♀️

Several community leaders affiliated with local rabbit warrens have voiced concern over Penny's World & Gastropub demanding too much of the population. The short answer is no, because this raw & live food experience is completely fictitious. Fiction is a form of storytelling, and quite harmless. Imaginary beagles pose no threat to rabbit habitats, real or imagined.

This has been a PSA of the National Beagle Association.

* Contrary to local rumor, Penny Lane has had no kills since February 2019
