Here is where I get to tell you why we have chosen to breed and about us.
We want to tell you that it doesn't matter how many times other people tell you how much work goes into breeding dogs, raising puppies and finding homes. Until you have done it, you just don't understand. It is completely time consuming, it really is a full time job. When and if you decide to get a puppy from us, we want you to understand that you are buying more than just a dog, you are buying OUR time, our efforts. We will answer questions, find solutions, and help you make the best decision you can about bringing a new member into your family. We answer our emails, every time, not when it's convenient, YOU are our customer and we will provide the best "customer service" we can. We will be available in three weeks, 6 months, or 10 years when you have a problem or concern about your pup.
While we understand that our babies become your babies, remember we helped bring them into this world, we helped cut the cords and clean them. We spent sleepless night making sure they were all eating, we helped teach them the things they needed to know to go home. Send us a picture or an email, join us on Facebook and keep us posted about them as they age. Keep us in the loop and please never ever let them end up in shelter.
We are constantly trying to improve our lines and focus on health and temperament above all.
We understand that it's difficult to find a breeder you can trust and we strongly believe that you should research your breed and your breeder!
We can provide you with references about our practices and past buyers once you've filled out our puppy questionnaire and sent us an e-mail requesting them.
CHRISSY
Chrissy is open and personable, she'll talk to you for hours about our dogs. She has been working with dogs for over 20 years. She has experience from boarding kennels and breeding to grooming. She spends all of her "free time" researching stuff for our dogs and trying to learn and grow as a breeder.
She's the back-bone here at Frenchaholics's and all of her time is spent with our dogs. If you have questions for her or want to know about her you'll have to shoot her an e-mail or text!
EMILY
I {Emily} am also very open and personable. I believe that doing what you love opens up a whole world of wonder. Working with animals has always been a dream and having four children myself (my favorite part labor & delivery) I feel doubly blessed to be able to produce quality puppies. I graduated from Corning Community College with my Computer Science Information Technology Tech Support Degree. I have dabbled in web design, programming, networking, and graphic design and loved all of it. I have also taken classes in Canine Theriogeneology; I've read tons of books, on-line articles and crawled countless websites/discussion boards/blogs regarding everything from whelping to nutrition. I love my dogs; I love everything about being breeder and I take it very seriously. It is an educated decision I have made, not a spur of the moment money making scheme.
I {Emily} prefer to stay mostly behind the scenes. I clean daily, I shoot pictures and do most of the graphic design and web work. I have personally been breeding French Bulldogs for only 5 years and was previously "Sullivan's Frog Dogs". While you can get a hold of me personally if you send us an e-mail or text Chrissy will probably be the one to respond.
SOME SIMPLE RULES
Rules & Guidelines
Just a quick note about these very simple rules & guidelines. We try to be very upfront about how we do things and what we expect you to do. If you would like to discuss why we have these rules & guidelines shoot us an email and we'll chat about them.
All puppies listed as available will have prices posted. The prices posted are firm; they are not a suggestion.
We have worked hard to get where we are today. It's like we always say, "there are no Holidays." We do the job every day no matter what (Birthdays, Christmas, Thanksgiving. It's a lot of canceled plans (always on call) and emergency c-sections (at 3a.m. after being awake for 2 nights watching Momma). We believe that our dogs and puppies are of great quality and priced appropriately for the quality you are receiving. We absolutely will not match prices of "puppy mills" (or large quantity low price breeders) so please respect that!
While we are a state licensed facility and are regularly inspected remember all puppies are raised in home and are handled daily and pre-spoiled before going into there new homes. We love our dogs enough to spend all of our time with them.
We highly recommend that you research your breed AND your breeder. So please come to us after you've done a little on our breeds and the demands that come along with owning them. As always if you have questions please feel free to ask. We are available via, email, phone, text or even on Facebook.
Thanks,
Chrissy & Emily
