🤳How do events work?

Some events I will already be attending out of pure joy. All images are available without watermarks for a price per image. All edits will be posted to my website after the event.

At some events I am going to offer discount black background portraits if there is a staged area set up in advance. These will be scheduled during breaks. These are billed to the client individually as a package, money due at the site.

Farms or ranches that want to hire me for an entire event that I’m not already going to?
There is a travel / time fee and you can book me per day:
This is more appropriate for private ranches or families that want an album of both documentary and action type photos to represent their farm or event.

Thank you all for a successful 2024 season. We are looking forward to 2025 but we need to hear from you on what you want to see for next season!

Had a great final clinic with Dan Moltion this Saturday and a relaxing trail ride to finish out the season Sunday. Thank you for all attending and thank you Krista for all of these awesome photo! We’ve had such a great season!

We are accepting pre-entries to our Elk Creek Quarter Horses Extreme Obstacle Race!

If you can’t attend- this is 100% refundable or you can pay the day of the event. We would love to get paperwork out of the way before the morning of the event!

We will have 4 classes:
In-hand - $20 entry
Youth- 15 and under - $30 entry
Adult - 16 and older - $30 entry
Open - 50% payback - $50 entry

Sign up early and get $5 off your entry fee.

Courses are posted below for in-hand and riding course. PLEASE NOTE- the Youth class will NOT be loading in the trailer.

This race will be completed in two rounds separated into arena work and obstacle work outside of the arena. Times for each round will be added together for a final total used to determine winners.

Who can participate?:
While this event is focused on ranch style obstacles every discipline is welcome to participate! There is no tack requirement- come in your western or english tack or even ba****ck if you want the challenge!

Our only requirement is everyone wear proper boots- no sneakers or driving shoes as you may have to get off your horse and we don’t want any one getting stepped on.

Please note- NYS law requires anyone under the age of 18 to wear a riding helmet.

Please have updated rabies and coggins for each horse.

What do you win?:
We have 3 beautiful custom buckles up for grabs for each riding class. Because of the late addition, we don’t have a buckle for the in-hand class however we will have another prize!

What if I am not comfortable going fast? That’s OKAY! We don’t expect everyone to go full throttle. Enter anyways and challenge yourself and your horse and have FUN!

We will have a practice TOMORROW, Saturday, 7th at 5pm for $25. If you cannot attend, the course will be open for schooling the day of the event.

Although, we are allowing schooling- these courses are still a challenge at a quick pace. So come challenge yourself, your horse, and have some fun!!

We will be hosting two practices before the ECQH Extreme Obstacle Race for those who would like to practice the course. The first one is Friday, August 30th at 6pm. The second is Saturday, September 7th at 5pm. $25 a rider. All obstacles will be set up. Patterns will be released this week. 🤠
