Whether on the farm, in the ring, or on the trail, our photo contest category this month, “New York’s Horsepower,” invites you to showcase the many ways horses enrich our state—capturing their power, grace, and partnership with the people who care for them!

🐎 From youth horse shows at county fairs to working horses on farms, the thrill of the racetrack to the quiet moments of care and companionship, send us the photos that highlight New York’s equine industry!

The weather held out and we had the best day at horse camp! 🐴✨ The kids learned all about horse safety, grooming, parts of the horse and tack, took pony rides, practiced their roping skills, and even made a keepsake craft with real horseshoes to bring home.

Big shoutout to Krista, Kevin, and Clover from Twisted K Ranch LLC for teaming up with us to make it such a fun day of learning and horsey adventures! ❤️

We will have the cows in the sorting pens Tuesday evening, 8/26. 6pm. $25/person.
