Fall is here and finals season is in full swing! Last week Moss Show Stables headed to the Eastern States Exposition where Lilly Orne and All About Me! took home champion and Maddie Orne and Sunshine took 3rd in the USHJA Horse of The Year Sm/Med Hunter Ponies. We are so proud of the Orne sisters for their dedication and great riding all year. Next stop: MHC Finals!

A big congratulations to Kim Miller and Grayson on their 4th place finish in the Child/Adult Hunter Derby last week at the North East Classic at Fieldstone! These two have been having a super successful show season and we cannot be more proud of all their hard work. And a huge thank you to Shining Valley for the exceptional coaching and care last week!

Moss Show Stables had a blast at Saratoga last week! We are so proud of everything our riders achieved from the Short Stirrup to the National Derby! Highlights include:

⭐️ Cicily Langdon stepped into the jumper ring for the first time and took home multiple blues in the Training Jumpers with Fin Chin L
⭐️ Olivia Bergstedt and Sláinte were champion in the Short Stirrup Hunters
⭐️ Frankie Lenzen and Huckleberry were hot on their tail with great rounds and a first and second in the Short Stirrup
⭐️ Kim Miller and Grayson had great rounds in a competitive Adult Hunter Division
⭐️ Charlotte Henson and Smoke Tree Maverick had a great ride and 12th place finish in the 2’3”-2’6” Hunter Derby
⭐️ Sarah Flaherty and Aprés Ski had consistent trips in the Adult Hunters
⭐️ Emma Cowen piloted her own Missumaxwell around the 2’3”-2’6” Hunter Derby, giving Max a great experience at Saratoga!
⭐️ And the star of the show, Emma’s husband Caleb stepped in the show ring for the first time and took home 3rd, 4th, and 5th in the Long Stirrup with Fin Chin L!

A huge congratulations to Lilly Orne and Hilbury Eregon Legacy for their fabulous Pony Finals debut! This unstoppable pair ended up 21st in the Small Ponies, including snatching up 4th in the model! We are so proud of these two!!

Our pony girls are on fire! Huge congratulations to Maddy and Lilly Orne on a fantastic week at HITS Saugerties!

Lilly and her own All About Me! finished third overall in the children’s hunter pony final including a win in the model. They also finished 3rd in the 2’ hunter derby🥉

Maddy finished 7th overall in the children’s hunter pony final on her own Quicksilver Legally Blonde, and had great trips on Kneesocks 🧦

These two are on the road again as Lilly and Hilbury Eregon Legacy are competing at Pony Finals in the small pony hunter division! Wishing them the best of luck 🍀 huge thank you to Charlotte McEnroe for all you do for our pony squad!

Moss Show Stables had a fabulous week at Head of the Bay last week! Congratulations to all our clients on fabulous results including multiple top placings. We are already at it again with riders at both HITS Saugerties and HITS Vermont this week!

Moss Show Stables had so much fun last weekend at NHHJA! Our riders took home 8 tricolors and had multiple top finishes in the classics and derbies! Thank you to the horses, parents, clients, and grooms who make it all possible.

Talk about consistency! Emily Noble and Classic Derby finish out a banner 2 weeks at Saratoga with Champion and Grand Champion in the younger 3’3” A/Os as well as a 7th place this week in the USHJA National Derby! We are so proud of this pair and all their hard work!

Not to be outdone by our ponies, our horses also had a great week at Saratoga Classic I!

⭐️ Kim Miller & Grayson won the 2’3/2’6 Hunter Derby and took home champion and grand champion in the Low Adult Hunters
⭐️ Emily Noble & Classic Derby earned 9th in a very large USHJA National Hunter Derby and were super consistent in the 3’3” A/O hunters
⭐️ Erin Nelson & Fin Chin L won Reserve Champion in the Modified Child/Adult Jumpers
⭐️ Virginia Arnold & Holy Moly had great rounds in the Maiden Equestrian and earned 10th in the 2’3/2’6 Hunter Derby. It is always a special treat when old friends like the Arnold family can join us at shows!
⭐️ Ava Petruzziello & Gronk 87 had great rides and lots of primary colors in the Short/Long Stirrup at their first rated show
⭐️ Sadie Codd & Zikina Field CBF took home a blue in a Training Jumpers class
⭐️ Sarah Flaherty’s Après Ski made the trip north from Florida and they had very consistent rounds in the Adult Hunters! We are so excited to see this pair back in action up north!

What a week at Saratoga Classic I! Our horses and riders had a super successful week. First, a big congratulations to our pony crew! Highlights include:
⭐️ Charlotte Henson & Smoke Tree Maverick placed 5th in the 2’3/2’6 Hunter Derby and took home Reserve Champion in the Maiden Eq
⭐️ Lilly Orne won Reserve Champion in the Children’s Pony Hunters aboard All About Me! She was also 8th in the USHJA Pony Hunter Derby and earned great ribbons in the Small Pony Hunters aboard Hilbury Eregon Legacy
⭐️ Maddie Orne earned great ribbons in the Children’s Pony Hunters aboard both Quicksilver Legally Blonde and Kneesocks
⭐️ Frankie Lenzen & Huckleberry took home Reserve Champion in the WTC and won a crossrails class at their first rated show
⭐️ Olivia Bergstedt & Slàinte earned great ribbons  in the Short/Long stirrup including multiple top 3 placings

🌟 Ava Petruzziello and Gronk 87 winning champion in the Long Stirrup Equation and reserve champion in the Long Stirrup Hunters
🌟 Kimmy Hiss and East Bound taking home champion of the Elementary Jumpers and moving up to the Schooling Jumpers on Sunday earning two seconds!
🌟 Kim Miller and Grayson taking home 5th in the 2’6” Hunter Derby
🌟 Emma Cowan and Missumaxwell earning 7th in the 2’6” Hunter Derby

Next, we would like to congratulate Maddie and Lilly Orne on their leases of Kneesocks and Hilbury Eregon Legacy. The Orne sisters had a fabulous two weeks at HITS Ocala with their new mounts, and we are excited to see what this summer brings! Thank you to Charlotte McEnroe, Hunter Lane Farm, Fox Meadow Farm, and True Catori Farm for helping us find these fabulous ponies!

🌟Lily Orne took reserve champion in the 2’ Junior Equitation on Hilbury Eregon Legacy as well as champion in the Children’s Hunter Pony on All About Me!
🌟Maddie Orne won champion in both the 2’ Junior Equitation and Short Stirrup Equitation on Quicksilver Legally Blonde and had great ribbons in the Short Stirrup Hunter on Kneesocks
🌟 Charlotte Henson was champion of the Short Stirrup Hunter and reserve champion of the Shirt Stirrup Equitation on Rollingwoods Up To S***f
🌟 Olivia Bergstedt was a class winner in the beginner equitation and had great results in the short stirrup on Bagel
