What a difference a bath can make! Penny is a new patient of ours and she originally came from Puerto Rico and was adopted by her wonderful family. 🥰 As you can tell she has some serious allergy issues and we made a big breakthrough during her first visit, just by having a nice relaxing antibacterial bath for her body and ears - yes her ears too! 👂

The before and after photos show the yeast her body was developing and how much better it looked after removing it. You could sense Penny's relief and comfort she felt after that warm and soothing bath - it was like a spa day for her! 🛁

We can't wait to see her continued progress with her treatments. We'll post updates as we have them!

Archie was very eager to learn from Dr. Stewart about what she was seeing on his ear cytology! An ear cytology is a very important diagnostic tool that involves us looking under a microscope. We can determine if there is yeast or bacteria that like to thrive in the ears, and from there prescribe the proper medications. What do you think…Should we hire Archie as our next intern?!

Veterinary Dermatology of New England, wishes everyone a safe and healthy day.
We are taking precautionary measures and remain open through this evolving situation with the Novel Coronavirus. Our hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.
During this time, we are only allowing our patients, your pets, to enter the building.
When you arrive at Veterinary Dermatology of New England, we ask that you please call our clinic at (978) 399.0100 to check in and a Client Service Representative or a Veterinary Technician will come to your car to retrieve your pet.
Once your pet has been seen by Dr. Stewart or has completed the Veterinary Technician appointment, we will call you on your cell phone to go over the exam findings and recommendations. After check out via telephone, a Veterinary Technician will bring your pet back to you.
If you are or have been ill or known to be exposed to the C-19 virus, you need to quarantine 15-days prior to coming to an appointment. We are happy to reschedule at a date that is better for all.
Thank you for your loyalty, and your patience as we continue to care for your pets. Please try to find reason to smile, be kind to one another, and our fur babies. We look forward to seeing you.
