I cant say this enough, We are so blessed and so grateful to our barn family! The dedication, commitment and love within our family is to be reckoned with. Huge shout out to our amazing borders, volunteers, working students, and barn kids!! We all worked tirelessly today to ensure the safety of all 56 equine, goats, and ram. Spread sand across every paddock, every walkway, or high traffic area, stuffed hay nets to the max, thickly bedded stalls, and so many blanket changes! I wish I had more photos to share! I'm not sure who keeps ordering rain.. but we can hold off till those good Ole hot summer days! Winter is no time for rain! Thank you to the best team ever!!! 🫶✨️💝🦄

Another fun snow day at the ranch! First time the herd has been in the big field in quite a while! Missing winters where snow was what we got! Let's all work together to not allow any more rain and ice!! 🙏🙌🫶 some happy ponies here today 🦄

For years, an underground horse meat market operated in the shadows, fueled by stolen horses, missing paperwork, and total disregard for animal welfare. Many horses were neglected, trafficked, and killed without oversight, ending their lives in fear and cruelty.

A new law now strengthens enforcement against illegal horse meat operations, giving authorities more power to investigate trafficking networks, protect vulnerable horses, and hold those responsible accountable.

This matters because horses are not commodities. They are companions, working partners, and animals deeply woven into human history and family life. Treating them as disposable products is abuse, not tradition.

Animal advocates are calling this a long-overdue step forward. It won’t end exploitation overnight, but for many horses, it could mean rescue instead of slaughter, safety instead of suffering, and dignity instead of silence.

The girls and Sadie had SO mich fun yesterday! There's a better video I will share later. A friend/student/barn kid has a great video from the beginning half of their pony sledding. This pony is absolutely amazing! Little Sadie, you may be a tw***ie under saddle sometimes but this makes up for it! ❄️
