Button Meadow is a private dog boarding and dog daycare facility located on 15 acres in Westhampton at the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains in Western Massachusetts in the Pioneer Valley. Our dog daycare services the following communities: Northampton, Florence, Easthampton, Leeds, Haydenville, and parts of Chesterfield, Williamsburg and Southampton.

Fauci, or Bam Bam as I like to call him, is here for the weekend. He is a busy boy too but right now he’d rather sit with me in the shade and watch the antics in the play yard.

Tilda and Terrance are boarding this week. They are a couple of sweeties. They’ve had a full morning and now we are taking a mid morning coffee break while waiting for big sweet Tug. I know they will have a good time together with Calamity and my three too.

Since Button Meadow daycare is full right now, we are working on switching dogs between days to foster new and happy connections. Here is Bear who switched from Friday to Thursday. She and Milo are new buddies.

Friday afternoon and we are all relaxing by the wood stove. The two lovebirds are Tug and Ziggy. Ziggy thinks Tug is her boyfriend. I don’t think Tug minds.

Can anyone recommend a dog behaviorist/trainer experienced with airedales? Someone who knows and loves the breed. I thinks that helps with larger breeds.

Daycare from Monday. The door down to the dog center is open but the dogs would rather be upstairs with me, of course. I’m preparing lunch. ( I’ve cleared out my great room for the dogs during construction.)

Summer time

It’s summer vacation season. For the next month Button Meadow weekends will look like this… happy and busy.

The black lab is Tess. It’s her first day of daycare. The yellow lab is Sunny. He has been coming to daycare for a few weeks. Puppies together and new best friends.

Thanksgiving Day 2021. Here are Tally, Marlie, my Mika, Eva, Luna, Huck, my Sunnie, Opal, Lucas and my Sullivan

This weekend’s pack: Opal, Huck, Jasper, Ziggy, Loki and Thor. And my pups as always. Sunnie, Mika and Sullivan. I tried to get Jasper and Ziggy bouncing around each other but they broke it off when the camera came out as often happens.
