I’m inviting you to join us at Hometown Pets for our Dog Adoption Event on Sunday 12/15, from 12 PM to 3 PM!

🎅 Here’s what you can expect at this festive event:
🐶 8-10 adorable dogs will be here, each looking for their forever home—let’s make miracles happen!
🎁 Adoption fees are waived, thanks to the incredible support of the Bissell Foundation!
🦴 New adopters will receive a free small bag of Nutrisource food to get started right.
🎄 Christmas toys and sweaters are 20% off during the event—get your pup holiday-ready!
💋 And as always, puppy kisses are free at Hometown Pets!

Hi Friends…..Just wanted to let you know I am working super hard at Hometown Pets guarding all the toys and treats going to the shelter dogs and cats at DACC that don’t have a home for Christmas. We are still taking donations until the adoption event on 12/15. Cash or credit…every little bit makes a difference! Don’t forget a bunch of my doggo friends will be at Hometown Pets on Sunday 12/15 from 12p-3p looking for their forever families, or even loving foster homes! I am very grateful to have found a warm home where I am safe and loved. Let’s make sure no dog goes back to the shelter on 12/15!

Exciting news friends! We’re hosting an Adoption Event on Sunday, December 15th at Hometown Pets! There will be adorable pups looking for their forever homes.

We also have a special way for you to help all our furry friends at the DACC shelter!

💝 We are taking donations for all the dogs and cats at DACC. On Christmas we want to be sure that all the dogs and cats still at the shelter have a treat and a toy for the holiday! Cash or card, we’re flexible! Our goal? To make sure every single one of the 200 dogs and 50 cats at DACC gets a special gift this holiday season.

Let’s make it even better: we’re hoping all the pets at the event find loving homes, so no one has to go back to the shelter on December 15th! ❤️

Hi everyone, it’s Clyde over here at Hometown Pets, 968 N. Newburgh in Westland!
Just wanted to let everyone know that the store is going to be closed for Thanksgiving so the store lady can cook me and my sisters a yummy in our tummy Thanksgiving dinner! We will be hard at work back at the store on Friday at 9am like usual. Come on in and visit. It’s looking a lot like Christmas around here thanks to Jen and Aareon for all their awesome decorating. There are some great sales going on throughout the holiday season! Come on in and let me tell ya all about them. We are super-duper grateful for all of our customers. Without your support we would not have this little store and puppies like me would not be able to find our forever homes!

We’re spreading holiday cheer to the dogs and cats spending Christmas at the DACC shelter, and we need your help! We're looking for donations to give each of our furry friends a special gift this season.

For just $4.00 per dog and $3.00 per cat, you can help us provide a toy and a treat for 200 dogs and 50 cats—because every animal deserves a little love and joy for the holidays! 🎁🐾

We’re looking for a kind-hearted family to adopt this wonderful bonded pair, a male and female around 10 years old. Both are spayed/neutered, though they still need their shots. They’re amazing with kids and do well with other dogs (unknown with cats). These two have spent their lives together and need to stay that way! 🌧️🐾 Breaking News from Hometown Pets: Two adorable troublemakers have been rescued from the depths of a bushy storm bunker! Meet Sheba and Kona, the dynamic duo of fluff! These tiny tornadoes are not microchipped (which makes them even more mysterious) and, sadly, no owners were found—so they’re officially on the hunt for a forever home.

These two are so bonded they could probably finish each other's sentences! 🐱❤️ If you’re looking for double the mischief, purring, and snuggles, you’ll need to adopt both of these cuties together. Trust me, they’re worth every meow! 🐾✨

Hometown Pets will be closed on Labor Day Monday for a quick breather, but all your favorite store staff will be working Saturday from 9a-7p and back, fully refreshed and looking forward to seeing you on Tuesday 9a-7p.
