We are a 501(c)3 Non-Profit all breed Michigan dog rescue dedicated to saving dogs and puppies in Michigan and Ohio that is foster based in the Metro Detroit area. We are dedicated to saving dogs and puppies in Michigan and Ohio. We will occasionally take in cats, kittens, pet birds, and bunnies on an as needed basis.

We are so thankful to everyone who has supported us, adopted from us & sent well wishes for our animals in 2024 & alllllllll the years prior ❤️🐾

We received many generous & thoughtful donations
during the year & for the holiday/year end. We look back on 2024 with gratitude.

During this holiday time, we received soooo many holiday updates from adopted dogs. Truly the best!! We are filled with comfort & relief that our rescues always find the best homes.

Little Bit is looking for her fur-ever home!

She’s a 6 pound petite dog who came to us with a massive hernia that has been repaired & healed well.

Little Bit is around 7 years old & enjoys being held, doing well at crate training, likes other dogs & is a big NO to cats.

She enjoys being sweet/loving/calm, but also has times where she’s full of s***k!

***UPDATE*** Elphaba is on a foster to adopt. Glinda and Fiyero have been adopted. Dad, Wizard, is still getting his matted coat worked on and building up confidence.

We would like to introduce the Wicked Litter!!

Mom is Elphaba (white/grey) & is already on a trial adoption.

Two puppies - Glinda (female) black/white and Fiyero (male) brown/white. They are about 3 months old and are full of love, being fostered with other dogs & cats.

We also have the Dad, named Wizard. He came to us very shy & needs a little more time in foster.

Who is looking for a tongue-sticking-out-cutie?!
😛❤️🐾

We are pleased to introduce Miss Birtha who was transferred to us from a local shelter.

We have taken her in for a vaccines, checkup & bloodwork - her bloodwork was perfect, including heartworm negative!

She is estimated around 5-6 years old (could be younger/older) & 35 pounds, but acts about 1 & is fullllll of energy (see video). She likes other dogs & cats. She has a big personality packed into a little package.

Please be familiar with the breed & research english bulldogs if unfamiliar - bulldogs typically require more frequent vet visits/medical care.

😭 Frida & Francisco are each still looking for a fur-ever home (separately) - neither one has received a single application & we have NO idea why 😭 (cute video also in comments)

They are 3-3.5 months old & are standard poodle mixes.

🩷Frida is doing well with potty training, does well in the crate & walks well on the leash. Knows sit! She will cry if she needs to use the bathroom. She loves to cuddle & calms down nicely for cuddles.

💙Francisco is also doing well with potty training, crate training & leash skills. Knows sit! He loves to play & comes when he is called.

Frida & Francisco are looking for their fur-ever homes!

Frida is doing well with potty training, does well in the crate & walks well on the leash. She will cry if she needs to use the bathroom. She loves to cuddle & calms down nicely for cuddles. She is a little shy at times but opens up once she feels comfortable.

Francisco is also doing well with potty training, crate training & leash skills. He loves to play & comes when he is called. He needs a little bit more work on the leash compared to his sister.

Frida & Francisco beat lepto & are in their loving foster home!! They are thriving & super sweet on top of being adorable. If you are interested in adoption, we are taking applications.

🥳 We have wonderful news!! 🥳

Frida & Francisco have beat lepto & been discharged into their loving foster home!! We are still heartbroken by their sibling, Fernando, who fought very hard but was unfortunately too far gone with organ failure. We are so thankful Frida & Francisco pulled through.

We would like to give a big thank you to everyone who sent positive vibes, prayers, donations & love for this lepto trio. We would also like to give a huge thank you to the foster family who offered to foster both siblings.

Frida & Francisco are thriving & super sweet on top of being adorable. If you are interested in adoption, we will be taking applications soon. All dogs in the home must be current on all vaccines. They are 3-3.5 months old & are standard poodle & pitbull mix.

Adorable Poppy is ready for his forever home! He is the whole package - cute, great with dogs, cats, and kids and housebroken.

He is 10 months old and weighs only 11 pounds. A perfect example of good things coming in small packages!

🚨 URGENT - PLEASE READ - LEPTO PUPS 🚨

Tuesday morning a pup who we named Fernando (brave journey) was surrendered to our vet with lepto (fka leptospirosis).

Lepto is a deadly & horrible disease that causes fever, gastrointestinal issues, jaundice & eventual organ shut down leading to death. There is a lepto vaccine with initial 4 week booster, followed by annual booster that can prevent this disease from spreading to other animals & infecting outdoor spaces.

We are deeply saddened to report sweet Fernando passed away during his lepto treatment. Blood panel showed kidney & liver failure. We want everyone to know Fernando was shown love & dignity during his final days & moments. We thank everyone who sent positive energy & donations for his care.

🚨🚨And in a wild turn of events, TWO more siblings also with lepto were surrendered to our vet yesterday. Despite the high cost to treat, we couldn’t turn them away. 🚨🚨

We have named them Frida (peace) & Francisco (free). Both have started treatment & are responding well. We are very hopeful for positive outcomes for both of peace & freedom to move forward & start their new lives with medical treatment, vaccines, microchips, spay/neuter & fur-ever familes. We are sorry & angry their little young lives are starting out this way; it is truly maddening & unfair. But, we are moving forward & doing all we can for both of them.

We are sorry & hate to ask for more support for these two. We have the best followers, adopters & have received so much love for Fernando, we are hoping the same for his siblings. Unfortunately the cost is high for us. If you have a few extra dollars, they will go to the ongoing care of Frida & Francisco. We will post another update soon & thank everyone in advance for the love ❤️🐾

❤️💔 UPDATE - unfortunately Fernando did not make it. His two siblings, Frida & Francisco, were unexpectedly also surrendered with lepto & are being treated!!! ❤️💔

🚨 URGENT - Fernando needs your help! 🚨

Sweet Fernando was surrendered to our vet this morning with lepto (fka leptospirosis). We named him Fernando which means brave journey.

Lepto is a dangerous & deadly disease - we are doing everything we can to save his life & have started his hopefully lifesaving journey. Unfortunately, this treatment & medical care comes with a hefty price tag for us as a rescue.

❤️🚨 Roxy needs our help!! 🚨❤️

Roxy was lucky enough to be rescued from our friends at Dog Aide after living her life outside & transferred over to us for adoption.

Unfortunately, sweet Roxy is in a lot of pain from a hooded v***a that is causing her UTIs & infection. She needs a vulvoplasty surgery to stop these ongoing infections & ultimately feel better. This surgery is estimated to be $1,600.

We told Roxy she is so loved by so many & are hopeful that everyone will come together for her. We can’t imagine the pain she’s in 🥹

Wooooow!!! Check out this glow up!!! Can you believe it’s only been 3.5 weeks & Croissant hasgone from hairless & crusty to this beautiful chocolate coat??? 😍 She is the sweetest, prettiest & luckiest girl. We are so happy she is thriving, safe & loving her life. She sure has gone a long way from being dumped in a field a month ago. We also want to give a huge thank you to Sarah E. for sending THREE boxes of potty pads, a puppy toy & a ball. You are the best!!

Well, it happened again, another box of abandoned puppies. This time left by a dumpster in Detroit. A Good Samaritan saw the box moving. One puppy was already decseased. Thank you to Detroit Pit Crew for taking them in. Poet is now fostering them. They are about 6 weeks old, 5 females, 1 male. They are the On the Go litter.

Croissant is dreaming of a home of her own! 🥐💤 This girl is super sweet, loves kids & enjoys cuddling up with everyone. And who can resist doggy snores? 🐶😴 Croissant is one of our mange puppies but as you can see she’s doing great & her hair is growing in beautifully. Croissant is 3.5 months old & is a mixed breed.
