❄️❄️❄️Tomorrow is the day! Operation Care Kit has teamed up with WLPD to help provide warm clothing, hygiene items, snacks, and basic necessities for those in need. We will be located at 32150 Dorsey St Westland, MI (Jefferson Barns Community Center) from 4pm-7pm. If you or someone you know is in need, please pass this information along!❄️❄️❄️

Thank you OSM Caring Hands for making the care buckets for those in need! Thank you Inkster Police Department for partnering with us to make sure those in need receive the Care Buckets made by our Seniors.

Thank you Presbyterian Village of Westland for loaning us your bus so our Seniors were able to deliver food boxes and necessities for the homeless through the help of the Westland Police Department. We have partnered with them for an ongoing program to help those in need. Thank you to the OSM Caring Hands for making sure the donated items were beautifully packaged. OSM is accepting donations throughout the year to help those in need.

It's that special time of year, let's come together to honor our seniors with a heartwarming Christmas Luncheon! I need your help, our mission is to ensure each resident receives a gift card in their Christmas Stocking. Please drop off your Gift cards or donations on or before December 20th! We have 50 residents! Thank You for helping us reach our goal!

Temperatures are dropping at night!

It's 34 degrees out and will stay this cold all night. We have friends and family living and sleeping outside right now! You can help in a couple of ways.

1) The Westland police will check on any homeless individual they get a cal about or see while they are on patrol. If you see someone in need (or if you yourself are struggling with homelessness) you can contact the Westland Police Department at 734-722-9600 and ask in for a community police officer for further info.

2) Donate to https://covenanthousemi.org/donate/
