4/8/23 UPDATE:

POTENTIAL SIGHTING OF PEPPER on 4/7/23 at the corner of Hwy 132 and So. Koster Rd. in Vernalis, Ca.

The gentleman called me at 5:24pm, but he said he couldn’t go back to keep eyes on her. He indicated she’s was on So. Koster Rd. near 132 but walking south with another little brown dog. Unfortunately, again no picture was taken so we can’t say for certain it was her, but it’s possible.

I jumped in my blazer with trap loaded, but couldn’t find her anywhere. We searched orchards near there and drove all over the area. I went out early this morning as well before sunrise and drove around for hours. Unfortunately didn’t see her.

PLEASE BE ON THE LOOKOUT IF YOU TRAVEL OR LIVE IN THE NEARBY AREA.

Debs Cruisin’ 4 Paws Road Rescue has been actively paying attention to possible signs and tracks in an outlying orchard. We have a camera set up to catch nighttime activity.  We know there’s other roaming dogs, we just don’t know if this one is Pepper. 
Please keep any sightings or potential sightings coming to this page or to the numbers that have been posted all over social media. We take every call/text/fb post as a serious lead n check it out.

Pepper needs the community to keep their eyes open and alert. Lost on Sat. March 18 when truck caught fire n burned to the ground at Joes Travel Plaza in Westley Ca.
Cruisin’ 4 Paws Road Rescue is working with the community and owner to track her to trap her to get her home safe to San Diego. Details in the pics below.
