Todays pet of the day is Raven. She is the sweetest girl who loves when I visit and take her out in the yard. Her family is the absolute best and they love her so much! They have come to mean so much to me and treat me like family. Cheryl has become like a mother to me and is always checking in on me and the kids. She is very particular with who takes care of her baby, so it means the world to me that she thinks I am, in her words, the absolute best! Thank you for that Cheryl and thank you Amy, for introducing us!

It’s been quite awhile since I posted! I’m going to pick up with my Pet of the Day posts. Today we have some new clients, Ella, Ollie and Deacon. I started working with these cuties this Spring. They are all so sweet and love being outside. Deacon is an attention hog and loves to snuggle in bed. Ollie loves to play ball. And Ella who struggles with anxiety, is just a love bug who just needs a quiet place to chill sometimes. They live with their mom and dad and their baby human who is now a toddler.

I met this beautiful, sweet angel named Snickers today and boy does she have a story! A very dear client of mine reached out and told me her neighbor needed help with a cat. Snickers had a home at one time but kept showing up in the neighborhood. My client and a few of her neighbors already took care of the local Ferals and wanted to help Snickers too. Poor girl had no front claws! So the neighbor ended up taking her into her home. The catch? She doesn’t actually live there, she lives in a different city 20 minutes away. Long story but she does own the home. So she asked me if I could drop in on Snickers. Y’all, she is the biggest love bug! She loves to snuggle and get attention. I stayed way longer than I was scheduled to because I just didn’t want to leave, lol. And those eyes. Snickers will eventually be taken to the owners other home where she will join other cats. ❤️

Two of my favorite clients! I have been with these cuties for 4 or 5 years now. They’re getting up there in age and Marley (dark one) has problems with her kidneys. She’s 14 and even with all she is going through still loves to run in the yard and play fetch. Buddy is a true couch potato, lol. Just finished up a house sitting with them yesterday. They are the best snugglers and I love them like my own. ❤️

This is Annie and Max. Annie is the pride and joy of a sweet couple in Westminster and Max is their daughter’s dog. I love house sitting and hanging out with these two. They love to walk, get treats and be loved on. Max is quite the escape artis but he loves a good car ride!

Today’s pets of the day are Huck and Chief. Huck is a big, goofy boy who loves carrying his “babies” around. He’s a gentle giant who isn’t a fan of the heat! Chief is almost a year old and talks up a storm! He loves to play in the kitchen faucet. He’s a bit shy around new people but we became fast friends.

I love each and every one of the dogs and cats, birds and bunnies that I have the pleasure of taking care of and spending time with, they are all special in their own unique ways. One of the hardest things about this job (honestly, not much is hard, but this is) is when you get the news that one of your beloved “clients” has crossed over to the Rainbow Bridge”. Last week, two families lost their dear fur babies.

Tiffany, the cat belonged to a delightful Irish lady who became a client through a mutual friend. Tiffany lived with another cat and a dog named Molly who passed away not long ago as well. Her mom did adopt another dog and Tiffany was finally adjusting to Brando! I loved her little chirps and snuggles.

Buddy was such a great dog. Always happy to see me and loved a good belly rub. He was big and goofy and so endearing. His brother Chaos passed a couple years ago and now they are together again. His family was one of the first I worked for and they have been very good to me and my kids over the years.

When I say I love each of my clients as if they were my own, I truly mean it. Especially the recurring ones that I really come to know and love. I will miss you both so much. Fly high babies, heaven is yours now.

Today’s pets of the day are this gorgeous sister duo, Jenna and Kylie! Kylie is a German Shepherd that lives to play ball and Jenna is a black Lab mix that loves her bum rubs and does a little dance when she gets them. I get to see the girls every weekday and they live across the street! Both of them also love pup cups from Starbucks, lol.

Today's pet of the day is Chloe. Chloe is a little love bug that belongs to one of Sophie's old school friends. They moved back to Chicago a few years ago and we miss them so much! Chloe also has cat siblings named Lucky, Socks and Autumn. Oh, and a guinea pig named Coco!

I have experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds, also cats, rabbits, birds, fish and hermit crabs. Your pet will get the best care and lots of love and play time with me! Your instructions will be followed to a T. I am responsible and trustworthy and will respect your home and pet. I have volunteered for a local animal rescue and have fostered as well.
