Have you wondered what we are looking at when we do a cytology of your pets ears? Here are some pictures of the microbes we see when we perform an ear cytology. Can anyone name the microbes that are circled on these slides and why it's important to know this?

Answer: The first two pictures that look like ovals or little snowmen are yeast and the last two slides that sort of look like little dashes are rods. Knowing this will help us determine which type of ear medication will be best for your pet to treat their ear infection.

We have two very friendly and playful male kittens available for adoption. They are about 3 1/2 to 4 months old and have been fixed and had their first set of vaccines. If you’re interested in adopting them, we are in the office this week Monday 8 AM to 5 PM, Tuesday 8 AM to 1 PM, closed Wednesday and Thursday and back in on Friday 8 AM to 6 PM..

We have a very friendly kitten who is available for adoption. She is very playful and enjoys being held upside down (silly girl). If you are interested in adopting her stop in the office while we are open.
