We've designed a prosthetic for her right leg, with the possibility of adding a blade for extra height if she adjusts well. We just received a video of her confidently using it outdoors! We are delighted to share the heartwarming story of Mamuli, the donkey rescued by Zhenya’s farm in Ukraine. As the war unfolded, the Green Grove farm near Dnipro underwent a remarkable transformation into a rehabilitation center. Animals evacuated from conflict zones or abandoned by their owners found solace in this haven, receiving vital quarantine, treatment, and care. Mamuli’s journey began when she was discovered wounded on the front line during the Ukraine war. Through the combined efforts of the military and Zhenya, she received the necessary medical attention and eventually found her way to Zhenya’s farm for rehabilitation. With the assistance of OrthoPets, Mamuli has recently been fitted with a prosthetic leg, enabling her to walk once more. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Loop Abroad for connecting with OrthoPets on behalf of Mamuli, making this extraordinary transformation a reality.
