Consistent routines with clear expectations help build solid discipline in your dogs. I started by giving @charlie_el_poodle one on one time so he had my full attention. We would stop at local empty playgrounds after his exercise and work extended stays. Gradually we worked our way to crowded playgrounds. My boy now understands to stay calm at play grounds and around children. Charlie knows that good behavior will be rewarded with ball play and off leash time.

I had to recruit some assistance with my work load. I tweaked my knee and my wrist. Still, I can’t complain when I have little helpers like this.

Miss saylor (black poodle) needed a refresher course on public etiquette. We spent some time in @surfcityusa drilling obedience, desensitizing to environmental stimulants, and having a little fun. @charlie_el_poodle is always there to model appropriate behavior.

Working with this sweet big boy Montana. He is a little too big and strong for puppy antics.

Mr DJ has been working on his on leash reactivity. This section of the Central Park loop takes us through a narrow strip that required DJ to fight his urge to react. Reconditioning responses require patience, time, repetition, and exercise.
