In honor of National Pet Bird Day, we're excited to introduce you to Freddie, the stunning 24-year-old male eclectus parrot! 🌿 With his beautiful green plumage, Freddie is a true showstopper. He belongs to our amazing Technical Supervisor, Alexis, who couldn't be prouder of her feathered friend.
Freddie has a firecracker personality and is always up to something fun. Growing up with three dogs, he’s even learned to beg for food just like them! 🐾 His favorite snacks? 🥜 Peanut butter and 🌽 corn—yum! His favorite hobby? Being mischievous and keeping his dog siblings on their toes!

Does anyone remember Nemo, the resilient stray kitten who came through our doors a little over two months ago? We're excited to share an update on his incredible journey!

Nemo has found his forever home with Lauren, one of our CVTs, who lovingly renamed him Gumpy. He’s growing more confident every day, and despite his paw injury, Gumpy runs and jumps like any other playful kitten! His wound has healed beautifully, and he’s far happier and more comfortable now. However, his recovery isn’t over just yet—due to the nature of his injury, he will eventually need surgery on his paw.
While he was quiet during his hospital stay, Gumpy has discovered his voice in Lauren’s home, becoming a little purr machine. He loves to meow and purr, and snuggles up with her every night.

Thank you all for the outpouring of love for Gumpy! We’re so proud to have helped this brave kitten recover and find the loving home he deserves. 💙
